um, I'm not sure I understand the question...
money is important because you need it to purchase shelter, food, etc....

Sure, money is needed in order to survive in life. It's one of those "nice to have" objects. But it's not important in my life. My family, my friends, and the life I have is what's important to me. I admit that when I receive my paycheck, I get a little happy, but the reason isn't because I have money, it's because I'm closer to my goal of making my life better.
