A new game recently released for the DS features many Manga characters from Jump magazine. I'm guessing from the looks of it, that you fight in a SSBM style. The graphics are little poor, but the screenshots are nothing to sneeze at.

Yep, you do fight Smash style. I can see this doing very well in Japan. But, how popular is Jump over here? Are all of the characters popular/still popular enough to bring it over here?

Jump is huge in Japan. o_o Very widely read. Most of the characters should be long-standing in popularity. It's a lot bigger there, than here, anyway.

    Yuugiou's in it. <3 I want.

Shounen Jump is the world's number one monthly manga compilation magazine, isn't it?

I can definitely see Goku, Yoh, Monkey D. Luffy, Naruto, Yami Yugi, the guy from Hikaru no Go, Kenshin Himura, and the guy from Prince of Tennis. That's definitely an all-star lineup, even here in America.

And I won't say any more because I don't have the right to as I don't own a DS =X

Holy shizzle. This really makes me want to get DS o.o I see Yugioh, DBZ, and Rurouni Kenshin. Just from seeing characters from those mangas makes Nintendo DS worth buying.

EDIT: Sweet. Yu Yu Hakusho characters are in it too. Awesome!

Hmm....very interesting....I might keep this in mind when getting a DS...

They also have Busou Renkin and JoJo, to name a few Jump mangas which seem to be minor in America...
Anyway, the movies at the official site are great :D

It's a weekly periodical in Japan. And thicker than its US counterpart...not to mention cheaper. @_@ Not fair~

Anyway, I really do hope it comes over here. It might just because of the DBZ and Yuugiou attachment to it. Not to mention Naruto starts soon, and will likely be huge. (Same with One Piece, as that's gaining in popularity now too.) I'd really like to see this released here~

Actually, there is also Gekkan Jump, which is a monthly magazine.
The paper is of better quality since they only need to print it once a month.

cool game, although the graphics are a little poor. But fighting SSBM style makles it great, me, I've never read the magazine before, but I still want it.:)

I am still unsure of an English Version release date? It would be far too long for an Italian...:'(

I'm actually thinking very much about importing this one ^^

My favorites are the Shaman King cast =D Asukura Hao is even playable =D

And just as a quick staggering fact, there's 150 characters in there. Some make cameo appearences, others are actually playable =D

Importers: This game has a pretty high language barrier I've heard =/ You've been warned XD
