August 16th, 2011- The world hasn't changed much since 2005, except the fact that terrorist attacks occur more often. On this day, a plane was hijacked, and crashed just west of Washington. The original target of the plane was the Whitehouse, but it was shot down before it could reach its target. Most of the 100 passengers were killed, the few whole lived suffered critical damage, and all went into a coma.

September 3rd, 2012- It has been little over a year since the tragedy in the summer of 2011, and those who were thrown into a coma are just awakening, coincidentally all on the same date. However, since their bodies took severe amounts of damage, their lives will never be the same again.

First of all, the character idea has to be creative, not just losing a leg. The laws of science play no role in your condition, but you need my approval first. >.o

This RP should become comedy/ slice of life/ supernatural if I see some of the stuff I think I will. And there will be a bad guy once we get going, so fear not.

    Form

    Name:
    Age:
    Gender:
    Appearance: (Before crash)
    Personality: (optional)
Crash Damage: (What has happened to your character and why? Also add any differences from the appearance before.
RP Sample: (Not required if I think well of your work)

    Here's my character:

    Name: David
    Age: 15
    Gender: Male
Appearance: David stands around the height of 5'11", with blue eyes and short red hair. He is built averagely, and wears a white t-shirt with a black hoody overtop, and a pair of navy blue jeans, black running shoes to accompany them.

Crash Damage: When his body was found, his torso and head were still intact, and he was barely breathing, his skin burnt so much that his identity wasn't recognizable. So, they doctors created a body for him based off a picture in his wallet of a young girl he knew (Surprise! If you don't like the way I RP, bite me! XD). However, the doctors assumed that that picture was David, since they had nothing else to go off of. She appears like this (One in red hair. Yes, I know she's a character from DNAngel, XD)

    Name: Mihara
    Age: 18
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Mihara is about 6'00", he is built averagely and has short black hair and blue-green eyes. He wears a loose black shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans with plain white running shoes.

Crash Damage: After the crash, Mihara had the upper half of his left arm ripped off. When he awoke he found that his upper arm had been replaced with solid metal. He has a long scar running across the midsection of his chest. He also has three small scars running down from his forehead to his eyebrows.

    Pat
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
Appearance: About 6'5", black hair, green eyes, freckles on face, medium build, blue t-shirt over worn cargo blue jeans.

Crash Damage: Pat's entire body suffered horrible burns, but his left arm was so horribly charred it had to be removed. The doctor's gave him a cybernetic arm in its place. Pat now has a face almost as hideous as Freddy Cougar's face.

    RP Sample:
These humans reject me now...but I don't care. Most of the plave crash survivors were greeted with sympathy, but people treated me like a monster Pat thought as he paced through the back alleys of DC.

Pat's frown drooped lower when he passed some homeless people huddled around a fire who fled from him screaming.

Well, I could have a career in Hollywood. I'd make the perfect Freddy...

    Name: Sora
    Age: 18
    Gender: M
Appearance: About 5'7, before the crash, Sora had dark blue eyes and long brown hair tied in the back. He wore a black shirt and baggy jeans with sandals. He was a great athlete and very deft in movement.

Personality: Sora is a benevolent person, not phased by much. He overthinks things, which has been his main problem, but can think fast when put in a situation to do so.

Crash Damage: After the crash, his body was barely anything, but he was still concious amazingly. With new science, they managed to do a brain transplant with 'Suki'. A cat XP. Suki was a past experiment who could understand and speak English. Suki's appearance is a black cat with piecing green eyes.

RP Sample: Sora hugged his mother and twin sister before entering the airplane.
"I can't believe it Sora...you're actually going to get a career in athletics..." His mother was all teary-eyed. He hated when people got so emotional...
"Mom, I'll be coming home again, I'm not going to Mars..."
"Oh shutup, you idiot!" his twin yelled, "You're going to a place she hasn't gone before...of course she's nevrous...I am too..." She looked down, trying hard to hold back some tears.
"Marcy! Don't cry too...you know what? We'll always be in contact, no matter what."
Marcy looked up at him. "How is that?"
"We've got that twin thing, ya know? It's telepathy." He smiled at his sister who gave a smirk and sniffled.
"Ugh...well, I'm gone now....see you all ASAP!" He gave them one last big hug and disapppeared into the crowd.

    Am I approved? :3

Name: Ashley Martin [she'd really prefer to be called Al or Ally, though.]
    Age: Thirteen and a half
    Gender: Female

Appearance: Shoulder length golden hair and bright cerulean eyes, anyone would instantly assume she's one of the clich?d cheerleaders that are shallow-ish, without the make-up and all. She has a slender frame, if not a little athletic, and rosy cheeks that make her look like a doll. Her clothing and her attitude, however, throws off her supposedly appealing look. She wears very loose clothes and she'd rather wear boxers in public than wear skirts or dresses.

Personality: Ashley, erm, Ally, is very audacious. She would jump off anything particularly high and would simply love to get a few scratches here and there. She acts nothing like a girl and acts exactly as one's little brother; childish, mischievous, highly full of life and aggravating. Very loud, too.

Crash Damage: She was found with the half left of her body paralyzed. Most her bones on that side were very brittle, if not broken. The doctors had to cover the western part of her body with metal alloys, to allow her to move. The eastern part, on the other hand, had no drastic injuries, but the skin had become very frail. A meager scratch could cause a deep cut.

The crash had also blinded her and the doctors had replaced her eyes. They were in a hurry so they got whatever pair of orbs they could find, which were apparently eerie red one's that they had been experimenting on. It allowed her to gain heightened sight but, as it was a failed experiment, she won't be able to see at all if light is shone directly at it.

    <3// [I got carried away, didn't I~? X3; Tell me what I should edit. :3]

Name: Robert Price (though he won't be going by that name)
    Age: 18
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Robert was your typical american teen. Dark brown hair, hazel eyes, usually wearing simple shirts and jeans. His only oddity was that despite the fact that he had decent looks, as well as the physical and mental potential to do just about anything with his life, he always held back.
    Personality: (DIE EVIL SIGN-UP FIELD!)

Crash Damage: Despite his training to reduce impact, the sheer force of the crash shattered nearly every bone in his body as he tried to resist it. That, and in addition to the fact that his body was nearly dismembered, (his left arm, and both legs were identified by the ankle and finger rings he wore under his clothes) with the burns that would have occured, it was jdged that he was one of the completely consumed bodies, since they had never found the rest of him. Now, he goes by the alias of shadow, keeping his past a secret as he wanders, apparently fully healthy, with darkly tanned skin, and long, spiky jet black hair with crimson streaks.

    My kinda RP! >D

    Name: Akee
    Age: 14
    Gender: Female
Appearance: Akee has blue eyes and dirty blond hair. It goes down almost to her shoulders, and curves up a little on the tips. She's rather short for her age, around 5' 4'', and has a small bust. She appears to be around 12, though as stated, she's actually 14. Regular clothes for her include a variety of shirts to big for her, and several styles of pants and skirts.
Personality: You'll just havta find out. <.< >.>
Crash Damage: Akee was phsyically wounded, though not nearly as much as many of the victims. Some would say she got off lucky. However, many don't know what's really going on behind her innocent looks...
Akee, it seems, suffered an extremely hard blow to the head. Though most wouldn't know the difference, peole who had been around Akee before the incident would notice a change. The usually hyperactive, curious and ofter annoying teenager was changed into a silent, spacy girl. She sometimes has sudden fits of insanity, and can see and hear thigns that tohers can't. She's a quiet variety of insane, and has lost much of her memory, but slowly, painfully, she remembers.

OOC: Okay, time to start! =D

IC: My year long slumber had finally ended. After the plane was hijacked and we were shot down, darkness had consumed my very soul. Now, just after a year later, I was able to open my eyes and take in the warm light of the sun once more...

"So you're finally awake..." A man standing before me commented. He was tall, pale, contrasting with his dark hair, and well muscled, though it was hidden by his labcoat.

"Man, what happened?" I asked the man as I sat up in what appeared to be a hospital bed.

"You were in a plane crash a few years ago." The man apparently named Manabe (It said so on the door) began to explain. "You just barely survived, the only things left of you were your arms, torso, and your head. You had lost your legs and you were severely burnt, it was a wonder you survived. However, even your face was burnt beyond the point in which your identity became unknown. Here's a list of the survivors... and the deceased."

At this explanation I began moving my legs up and down under the sheets, to indicate to him that they were still intact, before looking over the list. Why was I on the deceased list? I was right here! Furthermore, why was the little sister of my friend on the list of the survivors? First of all, she had run away, never to be found, AND she wasn't on that flight...

"Ah yes, I fixed up your body for you. It's my finest work, and I'm sure you'll never know the difference between this one and the old one." He assured me as he placed a mirror in front of me.

The only words that could be heard throughout the hospital were: "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" In a female tone. It was so loud they even buzzed up... Anyways, back in the room, I was breathing heavily, as I had the man pinned up against the wall. "This is not my body!" I continued to yell as I pointed to the thin, naked, female body that was pinning him to the wall. "What the hell have you done!?"

I was walking along the rail of a fence in my old hometown, lost in memories of the past...

I blinked, opening my eyes for the first time in nine months. I was in a dark room, with a lamp hanging from the ceiling. A young woman was standing over me, and she saw that I was awake. "Welcome back to life, Shadow." I sat up, for some reason, I didn't feel weak, like I normally did when I first awoke. "What happened? And why did you call me that? The last thing I remember is the plane." She smiled reassuringly. "We've been referring to you as shadow because we don't know what your real name is. You see, you were disfigured when the plane crashed, and we had to take some liberal biomechanical, and cybernetic advances to keep you alive." So, I had survived. That was something, at least. I was a completely new person. Stronger, too. I had just come back here to look after my remaining sister, since I knew I couldn't just return to my normal life. After all, I didn't have anything better to do..

I could just barely feel my pale body, I tried to move my arm around but to no avail. There were men coming to me, I couldn't make out their bodies as my eyes were covered in blood. They lifted me up onto a stretcher as I passed out from the pain.

"Ugh...what happened?" I slowly muttered as I opened my eyes only to be blinded by a bright florescent light. There were men standing on either side of me telling me to stay calm, I didn't notice why they said that until I saw that half of my arm was missing.

"What's going on?! My arm, what happened to it? Where am I?!" I demanded to know as I struggled to get free from the restraints of the operating table.

"Just be still, this will be over soon" A man said as he placed a gas mask on me and I slowed faded back into a deep slumber.

    OOC: Haven't Rped in like forever...yay <3

IC: I twitched in his sleep. Every thing seemed to be all warm and comfy and the moment.....and fuzzy. I probably would have stayed there for a couple of days if it wasn't for cup of water that was splashed upon me.

"What the hell was that for?!" I said bitterly. My eyes suddenly adjusted to the light. A scientist by the name of Tory (so said her ID tag) looked down at me. I know I wasn't that tall, but the way the girl was towering over me was kinda creepy.

"Ah, you're awake now...Sora Younger, am I right? Aboard the plane of August 11...2011..." She seemed to be scribbling on her clipboard as I still was dripping wet. At the mention of the plane though, I started to remember few things....me leaving....hijackers...burning...crashing...I should be dead!

I instantly straightened and surveyed the room. Some kindof lab? Tory was still scribbling on her clipboard. After I looked around the room, I dared to look at myself in a mirror sitting right next to me. I turned around to view...a cat. When I drew closer to the mirror, so did the cat.

"HOLY S-" In my alarm, I nearly fell of the desk I was propped upon. Luckily I was caught by Tory who then set me on the desk again.

"Hey! Would you rather be dead? You should be lucky that you have Suki as your body..." She snorted.

    Wait...wasn't Suki that supercat?

"What are you talking about? That IS your body! See, this is the identification we found beside you!" Manabe argued as I held him up, sifting through his pockets before removing a piece of paper and showing it to me.

I glanced the picture over. I had to admit, I now looked EXACTLY like this picture, but as I looked at it more and more I realized who this was... "You changed me into Riku you idiot!" Let me explain, my friend had two younger sisters, Riku and Risa. Even though they were close sisters, Riku left about two years ago without even saying a word to Risa. So this idiot of a doctor must have found my friends wallet, and his sisters picture must have been in there, so he assumed it was me... "That's not who I am! I'm David!" I yelled as I shoved the list in his face and pointed to my name.

All I heard Manabe mumble was "Oh no, I've done it again... However, she is my best work since 'Yuna', and I wanted to try making a female body..."

    "WHAT WAS THAT!?"

"Err... nothing... Even if I wanted to change you back, I can't..." He explained after I finally had let him down. "It was easy before since there was almost nothing left of you, but I can't switch a full body over again... Besides, you still owe me $5 million for this..."

So that was it... I was stuck like this... And I owed him 5 million dollars? Everyone thinks I'm dead, and I can't exactly prove otherwise looking like this. "Is that how it is then..."

"One more thing, you can't let anyone know your secret if what you tell me is correct. Everyone thinks you're dead, so it's unlikely they'd believe you anyways. What I'm saying is, you can't act like you used to, like you have been... Now, are you going to put some clothes on?" He asked me as he poked my chest, causing me to jump into the bed I had awaken in.

"You creep... What was that for?"

"Haha, just a little joke! There should be clothes in the drawer beside the bed."

He quickly left the room for me to change, and I quickly slipped on a sleeveless blue shirt with what seemed to be a large star shape on the lower right side, as well as a white pair of shorts, which were decently short, before exiting the room. I had refrained from looking at my body for now, just in case...

When I got into the hallway, Manabe was nowhere to be found. However, I DID find a snack machine, which was a good thing, since I had eaten an actual meal in over a year. When I finally reached it, I realized I had no money... great.

I was walking the halls one by one, not letting a single square foot past my sight. I had gotten information that Riku had been found, and not only that, but on the same plane I was on. She had been noted as "fully recovered" and was apparently still here. I wanted to meet her, at least one last time, because I knew my family was likely to be smothering her with affection now that she was back. After all, they had lost two children, and now, they had one back... I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't even notice her until I was right next to her. It had been a long time since I'd seen her, but it was unmistakeable. "It's nice to see that you've made a full recovery, Riku-san."I said, before looking at the machine. "Want something?" I asked, moving my arm into the slot at the bottom, and twisting the elbow in an uncanny way so that I could reach just about anything inside, before turning to her, my eyebrow raised inquisitively.

"W-who are you...?" I asked the somewhat creepy looking man as I began to back away. He wasn't really THAT creepy looking, but just looking at him sent a nervous chill down my spine. It was bad enough that I was stuck as a girl, but now I had to deal with this guy? Great. However, this was just the beginning of it all...

"No? Fair enough." I said, withdrawing my arm, which was holding a hershey bar. As I unwrapped it, I thought for a moment. Just who was I anymore, really? I couldn't keep being an older brother to her, after all, I 'died' in that crash. A guardian angel? Angel, me? Hah! "Your guardian demon. Call me Shadow. I'll be watching over you." I said, and taking a small bite of the hershey bar, I motioned goodbye to her, and turned, walking away. My spirits were uplifted for the first time since I had woken up in that hard cot...

I woke up in a small white room, no windows, no TV, nothing. I couldn't feel my left arm at all. My eyes also felt different, as if someone had done something to them. Slowly I got out of bed, I saw a pair of black jeans and a red tank-top shirt on a small brown chair next to my bed. I put them on and felt my cold arm.

"What...what is this?" I asked myself puzzled. I was almost in disbelief at what had happened. My arm was gone, all that was left was metal, just metal.

"It was that or leave you with one arm." A doctor said as he walked into the room.

"What?" I asked as I back away from him.

"You were in a plane crash a while ago, you took the least damage of all the passengers, but you still lost most of that arm. Whatever was left had lost too much blood by the time we found you." The man spoke as he looked at the arm he had given me.

"So...I was in the plane crash then? It wasn't just a dream? This is all real?" I asked as I fell to the ground still in a state of shock.

"Sadly...yes, this is all we could do for you. That and your eye, but you don't need to worry about that now." He said

"My eye..." I asked but I was cut off as I heard a female voice echo.

"What the Hell is this?!" Could be heard over the entire room.

And so, Tory, who I later found out was Suki's original owner, told me about what happened. The crash, the surgery, and a whole lot of other pointless details. I sat there trying to look like I understood her big words. I think she had forgot she was talking to Sora, not Suki. A key thing that I remember though was that she said, "Sora, this was an experiment. I hope you understand that you might not have lived....that's why we didn't inform your family about any of this. They still think you're dead."I paused from admiring my new tail to comment.

"So...you don't want them to know at all?"

"Nope. If the public finds out brain transplating is a sucess too fast, there would be way to many demands for the limited resources and knowledge we have now. So keep this a secret."

In short, I had lost my family...."You don't mind if I go and take a little walk, do you? I need to clear my head..." I wavered for a second, and then jumped off the desk, luckily landing on all fours. Tory opened the door for me. Usually I was the one opening the door for girls....

"Just don't get lost, Su- I mean, Sora," She said, and then closed the door.

I trotted down the halls, everything was so big....I thought about my athletic career. Pfft, the only thing I could be in sports was a mascot...the thought was kind of funny but-

"OOF! Um, I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I wa-" I had run into a girl at a vending machine, apperantly talking to some other guy. Dang, they were so tall...But the main point was, should I be talking to them at all? Aw hell, I wasn't going to listen to that psyco scientist...these people seemed friendly. I resumed talking. They might have also been in the crash. "um, wasn't looking where I was going...are you all from the crash? I am also..." I wasn't a good conversationalist, but what the heck. This girl was rather pretty.

Akee had woken up several minutes ago, but was still lying as if in eternal sleep. Her face appeared innocent, childish, cute. But inside, flashes of light, chilling periods of darkness, and strange shapes filled her conciousness. When a girlish scream was heard quite clearly through her door, she ventured to open one a slit.
"Ah, miss Akee, you're awake!" A female doctor stood several paces away, smiling at the small teen. Akee opened both eyes completely now, but the doctor could tell that even looking directly at her, Akee was not seeing her; her eyes had a far away look, as if something deep inside pained her.
She got up suddenly, stumbling for a moment before standign and mumbling something about "seeing the noise". The docter did nothign to stop her as she opened and closed the door, just looked on with an expression of pity.

"Guardian... Demon...?" I repeated as the man disappeared. In other words, I was thinking What the hell?

"Um, wasn't looking where I was going...are you all from the crash? I am also..."

I glanced down, to see a cat talking to me?! Geez, this was one totally messed up day. Just the kind you wanted to wake up to after being in a coma for a year. "Yeah, I'm from the crash. My name is Riku, who are you?" I questioned the kitty, hoping it wasn't looking up the legs of my shorts from down there...

I suddenly began coughing violently as I collapsed to my knees, blood spurting out of my mouth in large amounts. Thankfully, Manabe found me in time and brought me back to my bed, still coughing up blood on the way...

Soon, the door to the room opened, and two people walked in, closely followed by a third. A man who once had blonde hair, but it was fading into iron gray, with a beard. He was very muscular, but the signs of age were apparent everywhere, though he still looked like someone who was to be messed with under no circumstances. The woman with him was plain, almost sterotypical. With medium length black hair, kept in a simple cut, she had a slim frame, but her eyes were piercing as she looked at Manabe. "You told us she was all right, then what's this?" She asked coldly, pointing to the blood left on the floor. Her eyes would have been bad enough to send a raging T-rex running the other way in terror, and with her tone of voice, she seemed to almost reach the ceiling as she glared at the doctor. The man however immidiately rushed to the bed. "Riku, honey, are you okay?" He asked, but immidiately gave her a strong, but gentle hug, trying to hide his tears as he did so.

Unnoticed to all, I was sitting on the flag pole hanging above the window, glancing in at the happy reunion. Heck, my life was over, but I could at least ensure my family was happy, and this looked like a good start...
