I was reading some guides and I'm now quite confused. During end game I normally "boost" my Pokemon by sending out a lower level Pokemon with Lucky Egg, Exp Share etc equipped and switch.

However from what I've read your Pokemon do not reach their full potential by doing this. I'd like to start over and train my Pokemon to their fullest but even with the guides I don't quite understand how it works.

Could someone please explain how I would go about maxing out my teams stats?

Also when choosing to evolve a Pokemon with a stone, trade or happiness is it better to do it asap or wait until it's stats are maxed out? I've always been uneasy when it comes to evolving this type of Pokemon as I don't want to do it at the wrong time in case I miss out on moves etc.

I know this stuff is pretty basic but I'm completely baffled.

    Thank you! :D

You mean like EV training? There is an EV training guide in the Black and White FAQ. It's stickied at the top of that section, so you can't miss it. If you needed help with another game though, you could always ask in that section's Q&A thread, but I think your best results will be, if not from the BW FAQ, from asking in the Competitive Battling Center.
