Here is what I don't get in Minnesota we have had basically no snow. And in some parts of Arizona are having way to much...and thats after the tremendous drought they had. In California and along most of the west coast are having floods...huge floods. This year alone we have had a few more Huricanes than normal...Why is this...I just don't get it...will the weather continue to be weird? Does anyone have a good explanation? Or is it just random this year?

Ever seen the movie Day after tomorrow

    Its real. Its coming.

Well, according to my school teachers, and apparently the news, that big flood and earthquake they had down in Asia actually knocked the earth off its axis slightly, causing the weather to vary in many places. =/

This weatehr is creeping me out. In my area there might be a slight chance that a tsunami might come(I'M SCARED NOW). And yes, I think the Day After Tomorrow has come true. All this Global Warming and polution is to blame ofr the tsunami. And I think there might be more where that came from.

Well, chances are Tsunami wont happen again, or people are predicting it wont. To reassure you, I am guessing that it wont happen. It was just one of those natural disasters, and its possible it wont repeat itself. In about a year or so, the earth will fall back on its axis and things will start to clear up. ^^ I highly doubt that "The Day After Tommorow" will really shift into reality though~

    Agreed.

If a tsunami would hit where you live, its impact would never be as great as the one we have seen in Asia.

I too, have been aware of the weather change.
Hardly any snow, and mild weather is on its way. And I really am sick of it.

    i hate winter...so many different types of weather...i feel so bad for those many people who died...in the asia area....poor people, i heard that the president knew that it was coming....but didnt bother to tell due to money....which sux, all those lives lost....and plus here in california, it rains and then it doesnt, u never know...right now it is raining.....but, its kinda nice, hearing the rain, at night time....^^;

I don't think its global warming. Really, if it was, we would have, like, hurricanes in Oregon or somethin' and tornadoes in Vermont. Sorry if i'm exaggerating, but it would be like that. And mew42003, the polar shift was two years ago. Someone even set up a website about it: www.poleshiftprepare.com

    We need snow...like, now...

I heard about that, normally, when a year ends, the worlds axis is moved by 1cm, but on the earthquake recently hit, it hit by the world, and the world moved by 5cm, o__o, i fond out that.

But today, its going to be sooo dangerous, for 36 hours we have in real bad danger, the winds are gonna build up, cause its gonna be soooo windy tonight, im getting scared =3 xD

I know, we usally get a TON of snow by now where I live. Were usally having snow days by now and I'm still wearing T-shirts:P

    I miss the snow....

It is usually in the teens this time of the year. We have been hitting the '70s everyday. It is perfect weather. :P

hey you live in mn too?? so do i!!!! it is real weird about the snow but im not sure that has to do w global warming (its been WAY too cold)

I hate this weather. I want either SNOW or SUN. Not this awful slush and cold wave we have. Ack. On a totally different note, did anyone see what Randy Moss did at the game last Sunday? After he scored a touchdown? That was not something to be shown on national puplic television!

gah...when will he ever stop?? i know so many people who dont watch the vikings anymore bcause of him...the vikes didnt deserve to beat gb!!!

We've sure got an influx of these topics recently. ^^ Like I said, Aussie weather is screwed up right now, lol. XD

D00d, the tsunami in asia hapened on the second anniversary of my dad's death >>; (Sorry, just a little thing I felt like sharing ^^; )

Aaaanyway, there's usually a fair amount of snow here in Kodiak this time of year, and even though the weather has been saying that we would get snow, but no, and even though it's been cold an overcast, all we've gotten is sleet and rain....

Today it was -30 with the Windchill factor...and tommorow it will be colder...! And we still have little to show for it.(meaning there is still more green than white)
