4th Gen Mew?

    Just wondering where you guys have seen it? Was it from an event? I've never seen one (pity me lol) and have always been curious about this pokemon. Thanks.
     
    I have a Mew that I received at a special event. Every so often, Toys 'R Us has events like the one I went to where they give out legendary Pokémon.
     
    I live in the uk so we hardy have any events, i've been to two. One was for deoxys and the other ho-oh, lugia, legendary dogs and a pikachu with a light ball I think.
     
    You want to know how to catch Mew?

    You need Emerald Version. Mew is located on an island called Faraway Island / Worlds' Edge Island. It is located OUTSIDE of Hoenn, so you need a special ticket to get it. Its going to run all over the island. To catch it, get the ticket from an event, go to the island, chase it and catch it, battle it, and catch him.

    Anyway, you could have checked the Locations list to see it is unobtainable by normal means and the events list to see it has been released a few times. So, to answer your question, you can only get it through events. Not necessary to keep this open, really.
