I didn't see any other thread on it, so post your opinions on it here. Do you think it could be a replacement for Ad-Aware or Spybot- S&D?
That's true. I'm not so sure about Microsoft's claims, but joining their AntiSpyware network will supposedly send any new Spy/Adware threats to Microsoft, to get a solution from the pros, and update everyone elses too. I like the feature to scan once a day at your desired time, I can have it scan while I sleep, so I don't have to remember or waste my time scanning.Kairi said:Since neither of the aforementioned replace the other, I could only see it as an addition, rather than a replacement. I know nothing about it though, except it?s proven to be kinda a difficult ?market? to break into.
Not if one does all of their jobs in less time, and can do it automatically. =/Kip-kip said:I agree with Kairi, I can only see it as an addition. Remember, you can never have too many spyware removers. :D It's like candy and Linux.
Everything except for Windows itself. Ha! :PWolfWood said:I think that Microsoft does have the better anti-spyware remover. Microsoft is known to have good products and I hope this software does good.
Yeah :PBigCN401 said:Everything except for Windows itself. Ha! :P
I disagree. I think the design is pretty appealing, and the fact that it's faster and automatic has won me over.Kip-kip said:When that Mac Mini comes out, I'm buying. Or I'll try to get my parents to.
Anyway, I tried Microsoft's Antispyware thing and I must say it's the most ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. Microsoft needs new graphic designers. I personally don't like it, I like the feel of Adware and Spybot more than Microsoft's thing. I really don't think that there is much of a difference in Microsoft's product than what's already out there.
I don't think it's fast than Adware, but it is faster than Spybot. I never noticed the automatic until this weekend and I must say that was nice. But it has to detect spyware before it gets on your computer to be the best antispyware software. So far, McAsfee has the best one with their non-free antispyware killer. I wish it was free through, so I could get it.Brittany said:I disagree. I think the design is pretty appealing, and the fact that it's faster and automatic has won me over.
Why worry about it's interface, when you don't even have to see it run? :P
