Have any of us bought Minecraft for Windows 10 yet?

I've had around $10 or so sitting in my Microsoft account, so I wound up spending them on it last week. My computer isn't that great in terms of specs, but the game still seems to perform without any sort of flaws (even though it's more of a Pocket Edition copy at the moment).

Also, if we've purchased beta, do any of us know whether if we'll be able to upgrade for free or not when full version is released? I've been looking for an answer to this around other places, but I couldn't find anything.

I wouldn't say "bought", exactly. They're letting people who own regular Minecraft get the game for free, so I got my copy that way.

And I played a little bit, unaware that it was the Pocket version until after the fact. I was surprised how quickly the game loaded and how smoothly it ran, but considering it's Pocket I'd still opt for the original due to it having more content and mods, but as a cheaper version that runs very well on lower-end devices I'd certainly say it's worth it for those who don't want to shell out the money needed for the original.

And as for the upgrade, I very highly doubt that they'll charge for the full version if you bought the Beta. The original Minecraft didn't and, really, and incredible few games will actually make you pay anything if you've invested in the Beta. I'd say you don't have to worry about it.

I have Minecraft for PC already, so I ended up getting Minecraft Windows 10 for free. I can't say I really recommend it; it requires Xbox Live to work, meaning if you have no internet you can't play it at all. It also lacks all of the mods both the PC edition and Pocket Edition have, while lacking the features PC version has and the portability Pocket Edition has. The only advantage it even has over Pocket Edition is the fact that it has the features meant for its 12.1 update. You really should just get Pocket Edition if you have a phone, or PC edition if you have Win 10 as that still works. It might get better as time goes on, but I have it installed and I still rarely use it.

Another thing too: good freaking luck finding it if you DO want to try and mod it. I looked for a couple days all over my computer in an attempt to find where it was installed and it was installed in perhaps the most out of the way spot possible. Good grief!
