2nd Gen Missingnogo?

    My friend wants me to get him a Missingno because he doesn't understand the process. I firsthand got my Red file deleted because of a Missingno, but he seems to have his heart set on it. Is there a way to get a variation of Missingno that isn't harmful to save data?
     
    No variant of Missingno are harmful to game data. =/

    It's M that you have to worry about, I think. If you send it to the PC when you catch it (without having TWO spaces in your party) it can mess things up. But the only harm Missing no does is to your HOF.
     
    That's odd... I caught it out of curiosity (I stumbled on it by accident) and the next time I went to play, there was no option to continue, just New Game and Options
