Mother's Day Gift Ideas

My mom tell us exactly what she wants on mother's day. Me and my sis are putting our allowances together (which ironically come from her check) and are going to buy this fancy perfume.

If you americans had it at the correct time of year you wouldnt have this problem
;)
But yeah, just casually bring it up in conversation. Say you're doing a survey at school about the popularity of certain materials or something. That way you can check if she likes it without arousing too much suspicion. Otherwise just keep the reciept :P

If we had a commercialized holiday at the right time of year? uh... ok...

The dress looks nice, a little exspensive for my taste, but then again I'm very stingy with my money. I used to buy my mom perfume, because I'm a guy, I'd never buy her a dress because like I said I'm a guy, thus my taste isn't as sophisticated as the average woman's. My current go to is a large bouquet of fresh cut flowers and a nice to fancy dinner.

In the UK it's part of the Christian calender, and is Mothering Sunday (not sure if it's the same for you). As a country we don't celebrate Father's Day, Thanks Giving (I don't actually know what this is), or Halloween. They are just commercialised to make card companies money. We had Mothering Sunday weeks ago.

perfume? I think I have no enough money!

Since I don't see many women wearing dresses these days, I personally think it'd be nice.

I reckon my mother would appreciate a simple personally-made watercolor painting. Not only am I low on money, but that just seems like something she'd like over a jazzy purse or dress.

My brother and I are going to put our money together so she can buy herself a nice stylish pair of running shoes for the gym~~
There were some really nice Lacoste ones at The Vault~~

Well when I asked my Mom what she wants she said she doesn't need anything because her husband will buy anything she wants anyway. So I am not getting her anything I guess. =/

I don't know... I've always been terrible at the "Mother's Day" arts and crafts, so I have no clue if I'm going to make her something. Plus, her birthday just passed, so she pretty much already has what she wanted. I'm really terrible in the gifts department, and I'm working that morning, so I can't even make her breakfast. :/ I want to get her something, I'm just going to have to really think about it.

I had forgotten about mother's day untill recently. I just plan on treating her to see a movie cause thats all i can really afford at the time being...plus this way i can go see ironman or some other cool movie out, and I know she'll be happy seeing anything with me

I'm low on money and I have no idea what to get her D:
She likes attention, and if I don't get her anything, she'll be upset.
Maybe I'll make her a card or buy her a bath kit if I can find the money..

I bought my mother some roses. I put them under extensive care to get more of the flowers blooming than just 3 or 4. I always do something that takes time and care to finish. She's happy with just something simple. Maybe your mother would do the same if you just took some time with a simple gift. Most mothers would be happy if you even got her something.

I just got my mother a card and a teddy bear, as she collects them. When I say collect them, I mean the house is covered with them. In her bedroom, in the hallway, in the lounge, in the spare room, anywhere theres space shes got teddy bears. They're not expensive teddy bears or anything like that. Just ordinary ones but its become a complete obsession. But I am one of those people that just hate buying presents. My family never knows what they want, they never need anything and we don't believe in buying expensive gifts. So buying things is always a difficult process.
