Movies you grew up with (or currently growing up with)

    I thought I would post this seeing as nobody else has done it. So the questions in the title, what movies did you grow up with, or are currently growing up with. I'm 13 and growed up with Finding Nemo since I was like 8, and now I'm growing up with the DCU movies, and in 2020 i'll be like 18. What have you people grown up with?
     
    The 90's Disney movies :) From Ariel to Tarzan, pretty much.

    Also the original Star Wars trilogy (wasn't allowed to see it until the age of 8 because it was scary) and Fifth Element hahah. Me and my brother probably have more quotes we can joke about from that movie than any other.

    There was also The Land Before Time, and a few of its sequels. And plenty of other kids movies, such as An American Tail and its sequel (at least I think that was its English name? Featurinf Fievel).
     
    the nightmare before christmas and toy story, most definitely. i'd watch them over and over again as a kid and they're still my favorite movies. (:
     
    The 90's Disney movies, for sure. I kind of miss the old Disney, to be honest. :/ I also grew up with the Star Wars Trilogy as well. I remember watching it once at my cousin's house when I was spending the night. I grew up on other movies like Space Jam too.

    Oh ET, that one too. I think I cried rivers every time.

    As did I when Mufasa died. I mean, that must be the most tragic movie death in the 90's ;;
     
    Nothing for me will EVER beat the 90's Disney the most intune any stuido ever has or ever will be. Pracically hit after hit The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, Toy Story 1 & 2, Bugs Life, Mulan, Hercules to name a few and darn the PS1 games for there were massively fun (Huge shout out to Toy Story 2, Bugs Life & Hercules games)
    Alongside the original Land Before Time films (whist there were decent)

    Star Wars Episodes 1-3 although this led me to the original which I massively prefer
    James Bond back in the 90's early 00's these were pratically on ITV all the time atleast once a year the whole trilogy, I ended up loving every Bond film
     
    I was all about those animated movies. Disney movies (the ones from the early to mid 90s will always have the most special place in my heart - Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin for certain), Land Before Time, All Dogs Go to Heaven...aw yeah. :') Even if I didn't "get" everything that I watched. I remember rewatching All Dogs in recent times, and I was amazed with how many things in it there were that I never noticed when I was younger. I also liked the American Tail movies - although it took until I was older to appreciate the first one. I was all about the second one as a kid since it was brighter and "funnier". I could not appreciate things properly, tsk.

    Also there were Care Bear movies involved at some point.

    As for live-action movies....well. Count me in for the original three Star Wars as well, along with the Back to the Future trilogy. I uh...I'm pretty sure I drove my parents insane when I discovered those because I would watch the entire trilogy in one day. And then maybe rewatch the first one again. And then repeat all this the next day. This applied to both trilogies - though not at the same time, thank god, I fell in love with them at different times in my life.

    Although thinking of movies I probably drove my parents nuts with, one last one I can think of...The Brave Little Toaster. I absolutely adored that movie back then.
     
    The only answer to this is Mulan 8) Man I bet I saw this 200 times as a kid haha
     
    Wow ok no one's said Harry Potter, pretty much grew up with Harry and the gang, and by the time it ended I was practically grown up, just like them. :'(

    Spirited Away and Digimon the Movie were also ones I'd watch many times. LoTR and Star Wars too, but a lot of people seem to be doing the trilogy thing.
     
    90's Disney Rennisance and Pixar mostly, but also Fox movies like like Anastasia and FernGully, and some 80's movies like Grimlins, The Princess Bride, and Beatlejuice. I'd always borrow my cousin's Mary-Kate & Ashley movies too.
