MS Paint/.PNG Problems

A few questions.

1. Is MS Paint able to accept .PNG image files?
2. If so, what do I do to make MS Paint accept them?

okay... MSPaint doesn't accept PNG's. you can, however, save it as a paint file, and move it into a File Editor of some sort, then change it to PNG. sry if this isn't that helpful, i use a Mac, but have experience with Windows too. ^^

it's uhh... i think it comes with Windows... it's umm... >_< ****, i can't remember... it might be Picture Editor or something... :\

But I can save as a PNG with my Paint.... hmmm.... It might be your version of windows.... I have XP.

Yeah, XP will alow you to open .png s with MS Paint. It is strange that the other versions won't let you.
