MSN Messenger

I'm trying to sign in on MSN Messenger at home, but a prompt comes up saying ''[Troubleshoot] [Cancel]'' I downloaded V.6.2, any ideas of how I can get it on and sign in?

I've had alot of trouble with this MSN, I got the same error message for quite awhile, So I just used the old msn, but I got sick of it, So I deleted the 'NEW' msn and re-installed it and it works now, give that ago if you can be bothered, because Im not sure what else to do!

Oh yeah cuz it was a bit troubling this morning...

So I'll reinstall it later, when I get home

...Or you could click on Troubleshooting and it will tell you the problem that there might be.... like firewall, internet connection settings etc...
It happened to me as well and I could never find a reason, but in that case it was my computer a bit messed up... usually I just restarted the computer and it would work...

When I click on Trouble shoot, it says that the page is temporaly unavailible *shot*

Or, since you use both MSN and AIM, you could use a multiple messenger client like Trillian or GAIM.

I'm gonna try Trillian or ICQ, but I can't seem to sign in on AIM either

if u got a wireless router turn it off and on again or type ur email address and password in again

If you can't sign into MSN or AIM, then it could be a firewall. Do you know of any firewall or protection on your computer? That could be the problem.

*glares* Hey, I was about to say that! Yeah, also check for spyware and viruses, but it's most likely to be a firewall or proxy problem, in which case you need to set it up in your MSN options.

Gah, but I thought Safenet unblocked everything, 'cuz it let me back on an old forum I used to go to
