Here is my current team that I have on Ruby Version.

    Trainer: Garet (Male)
(Just to put all my team.)

    Blaziken, Lvl 100
    Item: Charcoal
Moves: Blaze Kick, Return, Sky Uppercut, Aerial Ace

    Jirachi, Lvl 73
    Item: None
Moves: Psychic, Doom Desire, Refresh, Swift

    Metagross, Lvl 74
    Item: Metal Coat
Moves: Hyper Beam, Meteor Mash, Metal Claw, Psychic

    Groudon, Lvl 90
    Item: Soft Sand
Moves: Eruption, Solarbeam, Earthquake, Fire Blast

    Kyogre, Lvl 62
    Item: Mystic Water
Moves: Sheer Cold, Surf, Ice Beam, Hydro Pump

    Rayquaza, Lvl 100
    Item: Dragon Fang
Moves: Fly, Dragon Claw, Extreemspeed, Hyper Beam

I am curretly raising all the pokemon other than Blaziken and Rayquaza up to Level 100 so I can have a chance at beating the Tower Colloseum in Pokemon Colloseum's Battle Mode. I am also updating moves. Now, somebody rate my party, please. And please, only constructive criticism, no ridiculing.

Good Team ^^ But... I think you have to do some changes:
Why Metal Claw and Meteor Mash in the same pkmn? Try to put diferent types! (PS: This counts to Metagross, Groundon and Kyogre)

    Anyway... Great Team!

the reason I don't do different types is because these attacks go towards the special attack count. Not to mention Drizzle is a lasting Rain Dance and Drought is a lasting Sunny Day. And Metagross's metal coat, which i got from trading from Colloseum, ups its steel attacks. I would give groudon something else if I could or wanted too. I mean, what TM's would i want to use on it or Kyogre? Well, thanks for the complements.

In colosseum u find on more earthquake... you can give it to kyogre! You are saying about the special bonus... try to attach the soft sand for exemple. I hope its helping ^^.

I suggest getting some Heart Scales to relearn some old moves. Blaziken also needs Flamethrower over Blaze Kick. Use the TM.

x1.1 attack items like Soft Sand hardly effect your moves at all. Be rid of them. Kyogre should be a full-fledged special attacker; Surf/Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Thunder and Calm Mind.

Rayquaza's moveset is terrible for one reason: you have Fly. Get rid of it. If you haven't trained with EVs in mind, then he most likely has more or less even Attack and Special Attack stats, so get Crunch in there somewhere.

*suggests him to click on the link within the signature to check out the advanced trainer's guide as this team includes plenty of new player's common mistakes, such as 2 attacks of the same type (Fire blast and Eruption), and acting against what the Pokemon stats support*

Start by dropping those crappy Items. Then try:

    Blaziken, Lvl 100
    Item: Choice Band
Moves: Overheat, Bulk Up, Sky Uppercut, Aerial Ace

    Jirachi, Lvl 73
    Item: Petaya Berry
Moves: Water Pulse, Rain Dance, Thunder, Psychic/Calm Mind

    Metagross, Lvl 74
    Item: Choice Band
Moves: Agility, Meteor Mash, Earthquake, Psychic

    Groudon, Lvl 90
    Item: Quick Claw
Moves: Eruption, Bulk Up, Earthquake, Ancient Power

    Kyogre, Lvl 62
    Item: Leftovers
Moves: Thunder, Calm Mind, Ice Beam, Water Spout

    Rayquaza, Lvl 100
    Item: Shell bell
Moves: Dragon Dance, Earthquake/Ancient Power, Extreme Speed, Brick Break

Or I could teach Kyogre THUNDER which will have 100 percent accuracy in the rain.

Rain gives Thunder 100 percent accuracy? I thought it just made it stronger.

No offence, but I really must laugh at your suggestions. First of all, since Rayquaza is a Dragon AND Flying type, Fly is actually pretty good. Fly also helped me beat the crap out of Mewtwo in Pokemon Stadium. EV's? EV's HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! EV's don't do squat in Pokemon Colloseum. In fact, it's NATURE that counts. Besides, arent EVs those points that are used to determain how much a pokemon likes you? And Blaze Kick is actually pretty good. Choice Band? Haven't gotten it off of colloseum yet. I haven't gotten many prizes off of the game. Calm Mind sucks. So does dragon dance. In Colloseum you won't last long enough for those to be effective. Why do you hate fly so much? I use that move to my advantage. It's not just power you know, it's make your opponent miss and loose PP usage. And your jirachi advice? Why the H**k would I want to teach it Waterpulse and those horrible moves! Refresh and Rest are a whole lot better, plus swift never misses the pokemon on colloseum that use their double team attack. Use Doom Desire, then rest for 2 turns as it does 120 damage with almost no failure on your opponent. Next, I know Kyogre will learn water spout and I will definately teach it that. The only thing wrong about my Rayquaza is that it has a low Special Defence due to it's NAIVE nature. i had to catch a bunch of lovedisc just to find ONE heart scale. I used up my others. Ok, I'll shut up. Now, if all my party were at Lvl 100, what would you rate my team from 1-10?

EV is effort values, not the happiness rating. Every 4 point of EV means +1 stats to a category. Each Pokemon can get up to 512 EV (or is it 510? *shrug*) so by manipulating EV you get a great amount of boosts in EV. EV comes depending on what Pokemon you fight against, such as a Zigzagoon gives you +1 EV Speed so if you want to be fast, you'll want to battle lots of Zigzagoon. Each category can consume up to 252 points of EV, so you can boost a stats up by a bonus of 60+ points worth of stats. If you having a Rayquaza, and you're fighting against another one, knowing how to play well with EV will give you a 40 stat boost (equilvalent to 10 lvls worth of stats roughly). So in a short summary, know how to play your EV values and you will be at lvl 110.

Since the above talks of getting EV to boost your stats, this should be easier to understand. Since there's a maximum of 510 EV only, you can't afford to have every stats getting the EV Buff. You can't afford both special attack and attack to be boosted at once (or else you'll be a defense-less slow Pokemon that'll get KO before your heavy attack power can strike). So that's why we discourage both dragon claw and fly at once, as one uses special attack stats, while the other uses physical attack. EV boost can only boost one of them, so one of the attack will be pathetic attack power. So let's be more efficient by either using only special attack or only physical attack.

Now, it's time to analyze EVERY SINGLE move you have on your team, and why an attack isn't worthwhile on it.

Blaze Kick- well a fire attack with just 90% accuracy and 85 power is trash... why not flamethrower with 95 power, 100% accuracy and 5 more PP as well? It's just wasteful to rely on the 25% critical hit when most likely all opponents will be dead in 1~3 flamethrowers (so by the time you got a critical hit, flamethrower already KOed). Plus accuracy factor... so at least replace blaze kick with flamethrower

Sky Uppercut- 85 power, 90% accuracy again with 15 pp... brick break has 75 attack power, 100% accuracy with the same PP, but has a nice side effect of destroying reflect and light screen. If there's reflect in play, I'll love to see what can Sky Uppercut do. If you say that "Sky Uppercut hits fly though!" Well... why don't we analyze fly?

Fly- 70 power and 95% accuracy... takes a turn to fly (dodge an attack) and then attack. So this is a 2 turn move, right? Well... 70/2 = 35. You're pretty much using a gust, and it's not even as accurate as gust. It's not like it's PP is that attractive either. But what about the dodging factor? Well... this will happen

    Rayquaza flies high
    Milotic ice beam misses.
Opponent thinks: "oh... he's going to hit me with fly next turn... let's...
Opponent withdraws Milotic and sends out Aggron
    Rayquaza uses fly
    *does 10 damage to Aggron*
(insert Opponent's evil laugher and harsh comments here)

So much for your block. You gave the enemy a chance to switch in and out safely. If you used aerial ace for example, you could have attacked that Milotic and deal more damage (but in reality, if you're Rayquaza and you see a Milotic, you either run or try to KO it as you know that you won't live ice beam)

Fly is only used when you're trying to stall... toxic users like Crobat will actually want to use fly because all they want is to stall a turn, not the damage factor. Rayquaza is trying to sweep, not to give the enemy a chance for leftovers to heal up. Plus if the opponent are resting and you used fly... well well 1 free turn for the enemy to wake up from Rest...

Doom Desire- exactly what can this move do? 85% accuracy with 120 attack power... However this thing has no STAB as it's type is neutral ("struggle type"), and just darn poor accuracy. Plus you have to wait for a few turns for it to kick in. Why don't we just use psychic to knock out the opponent now instead of waiting around for a few turns suffering attacks from the opponent? Best offense is best defense. This attack is pure trash. (but then again, Jirachi just suck period)

Eruption- a powerful attack that has diminishing outcome as your hp goes down... but excuse me what's Groudon's speed? You're quite likely to gurantee to suffer one attack before you strike (assuming that your opponents are half decent). So really in reality, you are using something slightly more powerful than fire blast the first turn, and then something weaker than flamethrower the second time you use it. Not to mention, Groudon's physical attack power is base stat 150, while special attack is just base 100. Eruption doesn't even get STAB... why bother...? You're not Kyogre with the STAB+150 Sp.Attack+rain dance boost all at once... you're just Groudon. (plus even Kyogre using Water Spout requires setting up for bonus speed)

Hyperbeam- absolute trash attack (unless on Slaking)... so 150 attack power with 90% accuracy... sounds good? However the next turn is gurantee to miss a turn... so it's a 2 turn move technically. 150/2 > 102 from return... doesn't look so good anymore hmm? Just use 2 return continously, and your attack power overcomes hyperbeam. Not to mention, if the opponent survived that turn of hyperbeam, they get a free turn to do whatever... they can recover, use dragon dance to sweep, or a free turn of focus punch... blah!

Swift- ok... Return has 102 attack power (42 higher than swift), and has 100% accuracy. In this case, accuracy doesn't even matter unless the opponent uses sand veil, double team or brightpowder... However if you hit them fast enough, they won't have the endurability to use 6 double team. So Swift is useless as well (and shockwave). Aerial Ace would have been useless as well but unfortunately we have no other better flying attack (however there's return for normal, and thunderbolt for electric)

And just how deadly is calm mind, dragon dance and other buff up...? Let's use your Rayquaza for a demonstration of dragon dance's wrath. Assuming lvl 100, with 252 EV in Attack power, 252 EV in speed, with the adamant nature to give attack power x1.1 boost and dropping special attack by 10%. You get this stats so far...

    352 hp, 438 attack, 216 defense, 289 speed, 302 sp.attack, 216 sp.def

What happens if you use one dragon dance...? it boosts attack and speed, making it...

511 attack and 337 speed... it's quite a difference. The attack boost is simply too amazing that now you can knock anything out of your path in one attack. You don't have to use all 6 dragon dance. Just use dragon dance once or twice and it's close to a gurantee you'll be taking down at least 2 of your oppoennt's pokemon. If you're not afraid of a Rayquaza getting a 73 point attack bonus in just one dragon dance (not to mention speed), I don't know what you're afraid of...

Hope that helps clarifiying things a bit. If you still disagree, say why and we'll continue on talking about this.

    I don't know, because I'm a stubborn idiot?

Uh, since Rayquaza is a Flying type also, fly gets a special attack and EV boost also. I taught Blaziken Flamethrower. (finally got the god forsaken tm Just bought the right amount of gambling coins.

I disagree on the part of Dragon Dance because it leaves the pokemon wide open for a blizzard, ice beam, or thunder attack. In Pokemon Colloseum, you'll be dead in the second battle because of this. The easiest stadium under level 100 is rated as a Hard trainer level. The computors are more fierce, however they are still stupid enough to not switch out pokemon. Right now, it's taking to long to get all them to level 100 so I've been concentrating on the level 50 Orre colloseum tournement on the game and the trainer difficulty is this: ??? And only today i managed to win with only one continue left by defeating the super trainer's marshtomp with my suicune...Err, anyway. Actually, Doom Desire almost never fails with my jirachi. And if the oponent is a dark type, what would Psychic do? .... Well, you know. And Swift never missess even if they do double team and whatnot. And if jirachi is paralyzed, use Doom Desire, then rest and then sleep while it kicks the crap outa the enemy. Groudon's eruption actually works even better with Drought in effect. Plus, Groudon is still good on colloseum. Blaze Kick-Attack hightened by Charcoal and Special Attack. Sky Uppercut-Same thing as blaze kick. Hyper Beam- Good in tight, desperate spots with leftovers or sitrus berries equiped. Err, by the way, someone kill me so i can shut up, and before that, tell me how many horsea will I have to catch before finding a Dragon Scale to up my rayquaza's special defence?

If I have been overly rude again, please get everyone to gang up on me and beat the crap out of me.

Yes Rayquaza does get a STAB from Fly boost due to being a flying type, but EV will never get boosted (or else we won't be seeing those stalling thems anywhere) through STAB, but like I said, it gives time for an opponent to use sub/protect to block the turn you're coming down, or switch in something that'll resis flying attack (such as Skarmory or Wheezing)

As for dragon dance or any other non-damaging moves, they all give a chance for the opponent to attack. But in the long run, a boost in attack power and speed is a very nice bonus. You just have to rely on your judgement when an opponent will not knock you out, or if your opponent will switch/use non-damaging move. Be completely afraid at a Gyarados who survived one attack during the turn it's using dragon dance, and activates salac berry with its hp in red...

I never played Col., so I can't comment on the computer's AI.

With the right level, a Suicune should be able to beat a Marshtomp easily... (insane def in both category + legendary vs. not even fully evolved Pokemon) however once again I dont' know how level works in Col.

If the opponent is a dark type, you switch. Not every Pokemon is meant to be able to take down every single Pokemon in the game, or else this won't be a very balanced game then. Deoxy-FR is weak to quick attack/fake out/extremespeed. Deoxy-LG is weak to Zangoose with swords dance (night shade and toxic both cannot hurt you at all... buff and sweep away). Slaking is weak to sub/protect users. I'll rather be more dependent on my entire team than forcing Jirachi against dark types (Tyrannitar vs Jirachi... eww.... *switch to Blastoise*)

If the opponent uses double team 6 times successfully, then it's just "too bad" sometimes... Have a hazer ready, or use swords dance once and try to destroy the opponent in a few quick hits. Double team when used just once or twice isn't that threatening. (or psych up works too ;p)

Jirachi sadly is not really that endurable... it's weak to plenty of stuff making it one of the weakest legendary ever sadly. I wish that it can learn heal bell and some better moves to be up par with other legendaries...

Groudon's eruption is powerful if you strike first. However it makes Groudon look stupid in front of Gardevoir and Blissey. If the opponent strikes first (Groudon isn't that fast...), eruption attack power goes down by a lot. Plus you don't have STAB (if it does then go ahead), and 50 base stats lower than physical attacks... that's why earthquake and physical attacks are preferred due to STAB and a much higher special attack.

Flamethrower also enjoys benefit from Charcoal and special attack. It's also a fire attack, meaning that it is also a special attack calculated off of special attack stats, just like blaze kick...

Sky Uppercut's inaccuracy with a not-that-much-higher attack power hurts a lot... plus breaking the 2 barriers is a lot more handy.

If you're deserate, use explosion, not hyper beam. Plus it is kinda a waste to save one slot for a final attack that's not even that powerful? Explosion is almost gurantee KO in most situations... Hyper beam, is not. Leftovers's healing is not enough to overcome just all the wonderful things your opponent can do after surviving hyperbeam (including dragon dance, swords dance, switching, sub, baton pass, recover, wish and so on)...

Dragon Scale doesn't do anything to Rayquaza... quite recommanded for Rayquaza to use lum berry instead to protect its precious attack power from will o wisp, or speed from thunderwave.
