    Ok peoples, I'm posting my D/P team for some help as I've been doing more research on D/P and it's moves so that when I transfer I'll already know what moves to swap and all, Ok then here's my team, Please rate and suggest:

    Blaziken @ Leftovers
    Trait: Blaze
    Nature: Lonely / Mild / Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk / 200 Sp / 52 Def / 6 HP
    - Sky Uppercut
    - Flare Blitz
    - Swords Dance
    - Rock Slide / Reversal / Stone Edge

    My awesome Blaziken, One of my favourite pokes, I admit not as awesome as Swampert when it comes to competetive battling but none the less he's good, Flare Blitz is an okay move as it is fire and STABed but it's also physical so it'll deal maximum damage. Swords Dance a couple of times and he'll own (Hopefully) I've decided to make Blaziken my Physical sweeper, I know he's not as great as Garchomp and Salamence and Metagross, but he's still ok, I have a plan to swap him for a Agiligross, but who knows...

    Gengar @ Choice Specs?
    Trait: Levitate
    Nature: ???
    EVs: 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Sp / 6HP ?
    - Shadow Ball
    - Will-O-Wisp / Toxic
    - Energy Ball (Gets rid of Bulky waters, Swampert or Milotic
    - Sludge Bomb / Substitute

    Ahhh, Gengar, So yeah thats my gengar, I was thinking of making him physical aswell, if you know what I mean, such as a subpuncher with Focus punch instead of Toxic / Will-O-Wisp, so that he can set up on Blissey if shes in the play, Blissey will swap while I set up a Sub, then predict what poke comes out and use either Shadow Ball or Energy Ball. Otherwise he'll stay as my Special Sweeper. I also forgot what natures best on a gengar. :(

    Steelix @ ???
    Trait: Rock Head
    Nature: ???
    EVs: 252 Sp. Def / 252 HP / 6 Atk or Def
    - Double Edge
    - Earthquake / Explosion
    - Toxic
    - Stealth Rock

    Steelix, My physical wall and annoyer! I'll stealth rock on switch no matter what, then if he's alive I'll toxicate, mwahahaha, then just attack or explode.

    Milotic @ ???
    Trait: Marvel Scale
    Nature: ???
    EVs: ???
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam
    - Hypnosis
    - Rest?

    Milotic. Heard about her. meant to be a great pokemon, Well I've never used it and I just caught my Feebas, so please give me a good set!

    Well that's all I can think of my team that are going to be on my team, I'm thinking about another 2 pokemon, Either another physical attacker, and a cleric such as celebi or Blissey.

    The other physical attackers i want are Mamoswine and Gachomp, Movesets and stuff below:

    Mamoswine @ ???
    Trait: Snow Cloak
    Nature: ???
    EVs: 252 Atk / 128 HP / 128 Speed ?
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Avalanche
    - Hail / Scary Face

    AND

    Garchomp @ Choice Band
    Trait: Sandveil
    Nature:
    EVs: 252 Atk / ???
    - Dragon Rush
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide / Fire Blast / Brick Break / Double-Edge
    - Dragon Claw

    Ok peoples, I'm posting my D/P team for some help as I've been doing more research on D/P and it's moves so that when I transfer I'll already know what moves to swap and all, Ok then here's my team, Please rate and suggest:

    Blaziken @ Leftovers
    Trait: Blaze
    Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -SATk)
    EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spd
    - Sky Uppercut
    - Flare Blitz
    - Swords Dance
    - Stone Edge

    My awesome Blaziken, One of my favourite pokes, I admit not as awesome as Swampert when it comes to competetive battling but none the less he's good, Flare Blitz is an okay move as it is fire and STABed but it's also physical so it'll deal maximum damage. As an actual Sweeper, Infernape outclasses this. If you want, use that instead.

    Gengar @ Leftovers
    Trait: Levitate
    Nature: Hasty (+Spd, -Def)
    EVs: 196 Atk / 140 Spd / 172 SAtk
    - Shadow Ball
    - Focus Punch
    - Energy Ball (Gets rid of Bulky waters, Swampert or Milotic)
    - Substitute

    Ahhh, Gengar, So yeah thats my gengar, I was thinking of making him physical aswell, if you know what I mean, such as a subpuncher with Focus punch instead of Toxic / Will-O-Wisp, so that he can set up on Blissey if shes in the play, Blissey will swap while I set up a Sub, then predict what poke comes out and use either Shadow Ball or Energy Ball. Otherwise he'll stay as my Special Sweeper. I also forgot what natures best on a gengar. :(
    I'm not too much of an expert on D/P Gengar, so I dunno.

    Steelix @ Black Steel Orb
    Trait: Sturdy
    Nature: Impish (+Def, -SAtk)
    EVs: 248 HP / 164 Atk / 96 Spd
    - Roar
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge / Rest
    - Stealth Rock

    Steelix, My physical wall and annoyer! I'll stealth rock on switch no matter what, then if he's alive I'll toxicate, mwahahaha, then just attack or explode.
    No use in running Toxic on Steelix.
    Also, with Black Steel Orb, this makes Flying types and levitaters cry and whine to you >=)

    Milotic @ Leftovers
    Trait: Marvel Scale
    Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
    EVs: 212 HP / 184 Def / 48 Spd / 64 SDef
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

    Milotic. Heard about her. meant to be a great pokemon, Well I've never used it and I just caught my Feebas, so please give me a good set!
    Uh yeah, just run with that for now :x

    Well that's all I can think of my team that are going to be on my team, I'm thinking about another 2 pokemon, Either another physical attacker, and a cleric such as celebi or Blissey.

    The other physical attackers i want are Mamoswine and Gachomp, Movesets and stuff below:

    Mamoswine @ ???
    Trait: Snow Cloak
    Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
    EVs: 252 HP / 216 Atk / 42 Spd
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Avalance / Ice Fang
    - Substitute
    All-Physical.

    AND

    Garchomp @ Life Orb
    Trait: Sandveil
    Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
    EVs: 40 HP / 216 Atk / 252 Spd
    - Dragon Rush
    - Earthquake
    - Swords Dance
    - Fire Fang
    Fire Fang's only purpose is to put a stop to Skarm and Forry.
    You have like, 3 Physical Sweepers in your team. You should go for a Special Tank.

    *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

    Blaziken @ Leftovers
    Trait: Blaze
    Nature: Hasty
    EVs: 252 Atk / 200 Sp / 52 Def / 6 HP
    - Sky Uppercut
    - Flare Blitz
    - Swords Dance
    - Stone Edge

    Infernape does this way better.

    Gengar @ Life Orb
    Trait: Levitate
    Nature: Timid/Hasty
    EVs: 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Sp / 6HP ?
    - Shadow Ball
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hypnosis/Energy Ball/Explosion

    Thunderbolt is a must. Skarm laughs at you without it and does far more damage to non-Swampert bulky waters. Toxic is the 2nd most useless status move Gengar has (besides Confuse Ray). Sludge Bomb is also quite useless as all of Gengar's other moves cover more types. Hasty for Boom, Timid for everything else.

    Steelix @ Leftovers
    Trait: Rock Head
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SDef
    - Stone Edge
    - Earthquake
    - Roar
    - Stealth Rock

    Roar or else you have no phazer. No Defense EVs makes Steelix sad. Also, whatever Iceman said about Steelix, IGNORE IT! Black Steel Orb does not have ANY effect on the opponent.

    Milotic @ Leftovers
    Trait: Marvel Scale
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef

    - Surf
    - Ice Beam
    - Sleep Talk
    - Rest

    RestTalk is the only viable moveset for Milotic in D/P.

    Mamoswine @ Choice Band
    Trait: Snow Cloak
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk / 128 HP / 128 Speed ?
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Avalanche
    - Ice Shard

    Ice Shard is the best reason to use Mamoswine.

    Garchomp @ Leftovers/Life Orb
    Trait: Sandveil
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4
    - Swords Dance

    - Earthquake
    - Fire Fang/Fire Blast
    - Dragon Claw

    You were doing so fine until you decided to put TWO physical Dragon attacks on one Pokemon. Dragon Rush sucks anyways, 75% accuracy for only 100 power? No way. SD because you already have a CBer.

    Hmm, this team has like no chance against Choice Scarf Heracross. Also, without anything to take special hits, Azelf and Manaphy run all over you.

    *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

    going off of aragorn's post, i'd give gengar energy ball for willowisp and give it black sludge instead of life orb (black sludge restores 1/8 each turn for poison types). with hypnosis and black sludge keeping it alive, i don't think it's as critical to worry about causing burn on the foe as it is to cover as much types as you can with tbolt, en-ball and sh-ball.

    also, going off of aragorn again, snow slide with base 80 speed and all those speed EVs is pointless especially when you have something as promising as ice shard. find a replacement for avalanche. you can keep it there, but i gaurantee you will rarely use it, and even when you do, it won't come in much help.

    i see trouble vs bulky waters.

    (black sludge restores 1/8 each turn for poison types)

    Hey Samson could you give me a link to where you saw the Black Sludge heals 1/8 HP each turn?

    I'm not calling you a liar. I just remember it healing 1/16 but that was a while ago. If 1/8 is confirmed please provide a link because that is a pretty big difference. That would be a big help to (Poison) types considering their STAB attack typing is awful.

    On a side note: *Ice Shard as a name is so much more dope than *Ice Pebble.

    https://72.14.253.104/search?q=cach...sludge+1/8+hold+item&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us

    well i saw it there and decided to use google to cache it for you, and it seems there is a complete misunderstanding. my mistake. when i first read it, i interpreted that it restored 1/8 every turn, but it doesn't, it restores hp for poison types when hp is low. the same guy who posted that called it the "better leftovers for poison", so i've definely mistaken that. it's more like a recycable berry minus the confusion =/

    i suppose the poison types will never catch a break.

    since confusion seems to be relevant, do any of you happen to know if there's a specific order with the effects of hold items and abilities? there's a new item that doubles attack but causes confusion on the user called Beserk Gene. if a pokemon has the ability Own-Tempo, will the doubling of attack still occur?

    Thanks for trying Samson.

    Here's a link to a thread about all the new items / moves and their effects...

    Item/Moves Questions Answered

    There's also a link at the top of the page to a thread just like it about 'Traits'.

    Here's what it says about Black Sludge...

    Black Sludge: Recovers 1/16 HP each turn to Poison-types, just as much as Leftovers.

    Here's probably where the kid from the link got confused...

    Breloom's 'Poison Heal' - Appears to heal the same amount whether the Poison is normal "weak" poison or increasing "Toxic" poison. This healing factor, however, is twice that of Leftovers at 1/8th of Max HP per turn and simultaneously allows Breloom to be immune other statuses as it is technically "Poisoned".

    So if Breloom is holding a Toxic Orb he regains 1/8 HP per turn. Very Interesting. He also can eat all sorts of Status Effects for your team since he's technically Poisoned. I think he might need some more attention as he already has that incredible Att stat + *Spore.

    Sorry if we got the thread of track.

    I'm going to see what i can do with Breloom right now.

    Also, no offense to you guys, but I don't think you read my post that well, anyway what I said was that I wanted either another physical attacker, not have three physical attackers.

    Anyway:

    Special Sweeper: Gengar
    Physical Sweeper: Infernape
    Physical Wall: Steelix
    Special Wall: ? (I thought Milotic was good, but I think I need a better one, as aragornbird pointed out)
    Hazer: Is it Steelix?
    Cleric: None

    Blaziken @ Leftovers
    Trait: Blaze
    Nature: Hasty
    EVs: 252 Atk / 200 Sp / 52 Def / 6 HP
    - Sky Uppercut
    - Flare Blitz
    - Swords Dance
    - Stone Edge

    Infernape does this way better.

    Ok, I think I will swap, but would it be better to swap him for one of my reserve pokemons that I wanted, these are Mamoswine, Garchomp, Tyranitar and Metagross.

    Gengar @ Life Orb
    Trait: Levitate
    Nature: Timid/Hasty
    EVs: 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Sp / 6HP ?
    - Shadow Ball
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hypnosis/Energy Ball/Explosion

    Got ya, Well I don't want Explosion, so whats better Hypnosis or Energy ball? I could do what Samson suggested and get rid of the WOW, so that I can sleep them then Attack, thoughts and opinions welcome, also is the EV spread right?

    Steelix @ Leftovers
    Trait: Rock Head
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SDef
    - Stone Edge
    - Earthquake
    - Roar
    - Stealth Rock

    Roar or else you have no phazer. No Defense EVs makes Steelix sad. Also, whatever Iceman said about Steelix, IGNORE IT! Black Steel Orb does not have ANY effect on the opponent.

    Ok ^_^, anyway does Roar change stat changes aswell, I thought it only made the pokemon switch.

    Getting rid of Milotic.

    Mamoswine @ Choice Band
    Trait: Snow Cloak
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk / 128 HP / 128 Speed ?
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Avalanche
    - Ice Shard

    Ice Shard is the best reason to use Mamoswine.

    Yeah, but it only does 60 damage including STAB. Isn't that awfully weak?

    Hmm, this team has like no chance against Choice Scarf Heracross. Also, without anything to take special hits, Azelf and Manaphy run all over you.

    What I need is a Special wall, Is heatrun any good, what about Bastiodon, it has 168 Base def and 138 Base Sp. Def? Also is Spiritomb a good addition to a team? Also, how about Gallade? he has good attack and Sp Def

    Anyway, if you think I should swap a certain pokemon, feel free to suggest which one, but you'll need to include a moveset and EV spread, lol. Anyways thanks guys for helping my starting Wi-Fi team! (please help some more!) Also which is better a boltbeaming Starmie, Or gengar?

    I'm going to see what i can do with Breloom right now.

    <White Lotus Shaped Hole in the Wall>

    teehee breloom has always been a neat little dude, and thanks for clearing that up, but there's something wrong with that. breloom still isn't a poison type and the description for the item still doesn't infer that the status of the holder is changed to poison like Toxic Orb. from what is given there, there is no status change, but as long as the pokemon is holding the item and is not poison type, they will lose hp.

    things are still quite unclear at the time being... for instance, in that smogon thread. it's been established that Iron Orb slows the the speed of the user, but does it actually make the user vulnerable to ground attacks, or the foe? smogon infers that the holder becomes vulerable to ground attacks when others have insisted that the foe does.

    oh and paranoia... yeah, ice shard isn't the strongest, but it's completely worth if you use it the right way. dragonite/flygon/and all those other dragons won't stand a chance with a quick moving attack that, if you considered the 4X effectiveness, would be like using a (60 X 4 = 240) 120 power move that is only 2X effective. it also punishes flying types with too much speed for it to catch up with.

    This part is for Paranoia...

    *Roar doesn't affect their stats. It forces them to switch so if your opponent was using *Dragon Dance / *Sword Dance / *Scheme then they lose all the stat boosts but their Base stats stay the same. That's why it's called Psuedo~Haze - because you are causing an effect just like *Haze by forcing a switch.

    It also forces them to smash into the *Stealth Rocks you will using causing damage.

    *Ice Shard gets STAB on Mamoswine so it is 90 Power. Mamoswine also has a huge Attack stat and you should be using it on the (Dragon) types that are huge threats like Garchomp / Salamence / Dragonite. It'll also get rid of Gliscor if you want to clear the field for Heracross.

    I think Spiritomb could function as a Special Wall once he gets a *Calm Mind or 2 under his belt but he's more of a Mixed Wall / Tank in general. Try this set...

    Spiritomb w/Leftovers
    'Pressure' : Opponent uses 2 PP instead of 1 PP.
     ~or~ <Calm : +Sdf / -Att>
    * Dark Pulse
    * Will-O-Wisp
    * Calm Mind
    * Pain Split

    (*Will-O-Wisp to weaken Physical Attacks - *Calm Mind to raise your Special Attack / Defense - *Pain split when needed - Then proceed to bomb away. Could be scary lategame if they have no Hazer.)

    If Gengar is gonna be your Special Sweeper then i'd use Life Orb w/*Shadow Ball - *Thunderbolt - *Energy Ball - *Focus Blast or *Hypnosis. I prefer double status but if you want to sweep with him i'd use more attacks.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    This part is for Samson...
    You must have misunderstood. Breloom w/Toxic Orb and the ability 'Poison Heal' gets 1/8 HP per turn.
    Toxic Orb is the item that gives the holder 'Toxic' status or badly poisoned status. The item gives him Poison status thereby giving him 1/8 HP per turn - because of 'Poison Heal' - as well as blocking status effects because he's already Poisoned.
    Black Sludge the item you were talking about heals 1/16 HP on (Poison) types and hurts -1/16 HP on pokes who aren't (Poison) types. It doesn't confer Poison status.
    *Ice Shard gets STAB on Mamoswine so it is 90 Power.
    ice shard's base power is 40, and STAB is %50 boost, so Paranoia was right when saying that it was at 60. notice he said *including* STAB.
    and yah, sorry for misunderstanding. i'm always out of whack when it's exam season =/
    My bad.
    I thought it was 60 Base Power.
    It still wrecks what it is supposed to. Speed Priority is so cool on Big Bulky Slow Pokes.
    Yay, I really wanted to use Spiritomb, but didn't know he would be a decent enough pokemon, anyway, just wanting to know would swapping Calm mind for Nasty Plot be a better idea as it raises Sp. Atk 2 stages? Or should I focus on his defense?
    In most cases *Nasty Plot is superior but not here.
    Spiritomb isn't a sweeper.
    He should be used as a Tank so the +Special Defenses will make him an incredible pain in the ass. With no Weaknesses <outside of Miltank / Kanghastan w/'Bravery' since they can hit you 2x SE with (Fight) attacks> you want him to have UBER Defensive #'s. With all that Special Defense + *Will-O-Wisp + *Pain Split + 'Pressure' you can see how after he's setup he could be very scary - Even to things that resist *Dark Pulse.
    teehee isn't miltank awesome? XDD so anxious to get one.
    So he is an excellent team player, if he has a couple of CM's? Awesome, also would he do good as a BPer because he could pass 6 CMs to Gengar. Or 3 Nasty Plot's. Also, is Miltank or Kanghastan popular pokemons? or should I not worry about them.
    EDIT: Sorry, he doesn't learn BP :(
