my dark deck pleas rate

    this is my tournament deck all the cards in it are from everything above hidden legends.

    pokemon: 20
    3x larvitar (EX TRR, 50hp)
    3x dark pupitar (EX TRR, 70 hp, explosive evolution)
    3x dark tyranitar (EX TRR, 120 hp, 2x bite off, 1x second strike)
    2x dratini (EX TRR, 50 hp)
    2x Dark dragonair (EX TRR, 70 hp, evolutionary light)
    1x dark dragonite (EX TRR, 120 hp)
    2x cleffa (EX UF, 50 hp)
    2x absol (EX HP, 70 hp)
    1x Rockets Seasel ex (EX TRR, 90 hp)
    1x onix (EX UF, 80 hp)

    trainers: 16
    4x potion
    2x rocket's mission
    2x professor cozmo's discovery
    2x rocket's hideout
    2x pokemon retriever
    2x rare candy
    2x rockets poke ball
    1x switch

    energy: 24
    4x darkness energy
    4x dark metal energy
    2x R energy
    14x fighting energy
     
    make the t.tar line 1 second strike and 1 bite off
    also add in a 2-1-2 line of dark ampharos
    add in 4 atm rock and BAM u got ureself a rocklock deck.
    basically take out
    cleffa,onix,absol(all of them)
    also take out some fighting energy becuz 24 energy is way to much
    add in 2 rare candy
    add in pidgeot line 2-1-2
    also add in 3 or 4 Double Ranbow Energy.
    im to lazy to totally fix the deck sorry ='(
     
    ok i get taking out 1 tyranitar and some fighting energy, and onix(although he does a great job of retreiving r and darkness energy in my grave). but why cleffa and absol,
    absol does a great job of stalling my opponent out (did it the other day they dident get any of the cards they needed until really late in the game) and cleffa gives me great draw power, yes she dosent last long but 1 or 2 turns is more than enough for me (had a guy litterally scoop first turn when he saw cleffa as my active).
    and why would i add in more stages of evolution with pigeot or dark ampharos .
     
    do u get the strategy of rocklock??
    it is to get out dark t.tar (sand damage) and let their basics take damage.and when you have dark amphy out whenever ure opponent evolves they take 20 damage. that damage ADDS UP. Then when ure ready you use ATM Rock to KO like 3 or 4 pokemon at a time.
    im not saying abol isnt good but im sayin its not smart to have more than 1. Abol can be just for tech. and when someone scoops becuz they see a cleffa then u know they got a problem -_- . lol
     
    i get the point of the deck. its just adding another 2nd stage pokemon to the deck i think would slow it down to much especially without cleffa. and he scooped in game 2 because in game 1 i wone by turn 6 because i got cleffa turn 1 and he couldent do anything about it. he just hated how great of draws i was gettin(he even cut the deck boath times). and it was rather funny.
     
    u run rockets pokeball and celios...
    once u get out pidgeot u can set up SO fast.
    i would show u the base list but its on pokegym. and i dont wanna give u my list sorry.
    also is this deck for tourneys?
     
    if you mean run more R energy i dont want to puting 2 more in i think would slow down the deck way to much.
     
    Agree with sceptilerancher. Try on dark amphoros and take out all others useless cards. then your opponent basic or evolved will being damage by pokepower. Use ATM rock to devolve opponent pokemon. Rocklock is an expert deck but can't be world champion now.
     
    ok then so sneasel dragonnite and evrything else comes out of my deck. even though this was not a rock lock deck and just throw everything out and play with a rock lock deck.
