My First Card :)

What program did you use?

The HP is way too big, to start. The Illus. bit is too bold. The fonts (all except the name and Poké-Body name) look weird; are they the right ones?

To be honest...I don't like the attacks and the way they're worded/the costs. This is how I'd have it.

[P][C] Wish - Flip a coin. If heads, remove 6 damage counters from Jirachi.
[P][P][C] Psychic - 50

I think the weakness should be Psychic, but correct me if I'm wrong...for some reason that's how it is on cards.

No set number, rarity or set symbol? At the very least, put 001 and the Black Star Promo symbol...

For your first card, overall it's good, but refer to Fangking Omega's tutorials.

the HP font is huge!!

the atk names 'wish' and 'psychic' should have the same fonts

Psychic should come before wish as it has a lower energy cost...

Yeah, nice ideas, but need some more practice on the implementation. There are some very specific tutorials that deal with fonts and position of text.

And, if you intend to be taken seriously, its better to make cards more balanced and fair. PP for 50 is way to powerful on a basic. Take a look at pre-existing cards can help, especially for damage-only attacks. For instance, Base Kadabra has a psychic attack that does 50, but it costs PPC. And it's a Stage 1. Movie promo mewtwo is a basic has an attack that costs the same, but only does 40. Unless there is a severe downside (like very low HP), you should think very carefully about making an attack that doesn't follow previous conventions.

This card is too powerful.

You really should have used a better picture of Jirachi.
Also, did you put the illustrator as being you? If so, I don't think you are the illustrator. That appears to be the same Jirachi from the cover of the 6th Pokemon movie but is slightly recolored and has a outline and different background added to it. As I recently found out, backgrounds do not require credit so you'd need to give the name of the person who made the Pokemon ITSELF. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Good job for a first card, though each attack seems to have a different font... Hmm...

Fonts and stuff need to be fixed along with placements. Please refer to the tutorials and click on the link in my sig to get all the proper fonts and supplies needed to create a fantastic card! Everyone has potential, and you do too!

Ok,
1. I followed the tutorial as well as I could.
2. Thats where I got my resorces from
3. I wasnt sure who to give credit too for the illustration so i'll change that.
4. I'm gonna make a chikorita card and will keep in mind all your tips.
5. Did I say it was my first time using photoshop? :)

It's excellent for a first try, especially if you are new to photoshop. I can't see any tutorials that tell you to do attacks in differing fonts however. Keep trying!
