NOTE: I will ONLY change the movesets, NOT Pokemon. I care about my pokemon, and stick to one main team. All Pokemon are female.
Lv. 92 Flareon
Moveset:
- Body Slam
- Flamethrower
- Quick Attack
- Shadow Ball
Not only are 3 attacking moves of the same type a HORRIBLE idea, but now you just wasted a bunch of TMs that you could have used on other Pokes. Plus, since your Poke is female, you cannot even transfer the moves through breeding, as only males can do that. Bad, bad, bad planning. Hopefully you will learn from this. As for Flareon, know that it is the worst of the Eevee evos. You really should choose a different Poke, preferably not a Fire-type, as they are the weakest type in the game. At any rate, get rid of OH and FB, have it re-learn QA, and then teach it SB. Since its Atk is higher than its SAtk, the physical moves will do more for you and the above moveset will make your Poke more effective against more different types.
Lv. 65 Raticate
Moveset:
- Quick Attack/Shadow Ball
- Return
- Super Fang
- Thunder Wave
Unless you are willing to breed a new Raticate, I would again suggest a different Poke. First off, repeat after me "Two-turn moves suck, two-turn moves suck." Learn it. Live it. Love it. In the time it takes that two-turn Dig move to do damage, you could have attacked TWICE with a different move. Also don't teach Raticate special attacks like Ice Beam. Its base SAtk is only 50, which is pathetic. Also only use SF as your initial move, as that is when it does the most damage. Then you switch to Return. QA can be used, unless you didn't use SB on Flareon, or wisely chose a different Poke. TW is a Move Tutor move, but works great on Raticate. As you can see, the movepool is quite limited and also limits the options of your other Pokes.
Lv. 100 Raichu
Moveset:
- Focus Punch/Brick Break
- Substitute/Light Screen
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
Well, at least Raichu isn't too bad. It is still outclassed in every way by Electabuzz and Jolteon though. One thing that is good about Raichu is its base Atk. It can hurt things. Don't use Thunder though, as the accuracy will fail you more in-game than the benefit of the higher AP over Thunderbolt. TB is consistent. If you INSIST on keeping this guy, I would use the SubPunch option.
Lv. 60 Scyther
Moveset:
- False Swipe
- Silver Wind
- Swords Dance
- Wing Attack
As it has been mentioned many times before, Scyther isn't that great in-game. What it can do though is help catch wild Pokes, MUCH better than Raticate. You need to teach it False Swipe. With its high base Atk and Spd, it can rip through wild Pokes, and then leave them with 1 HP, making them much easier to catch. To teach it FS though, you will need to start over and teach it at Lv16. Since you are starting over, you might as well breed Silver Wind on it (breed with a male Beautifly that learns SW at Lv47) and make it more of a decent Poke. SD is a MT move, but well worth it.
Lv. 61 Fearow
Moveset:
- Agility
- Drill Peck
- Quick Attack
- Steel Wing/Toxic
Not a bad choice. At least it isn't Pidgeot. Still, Dodrio is a much better option. Fearow's movepool sucks, as you can see above. Go with Dodrio.
Lv. 100 Blastoise
Moveset:
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Rest
- Surf
DO NOT use the crappy two-turn elemental attacks. Surf does more damage over the two turns it takes you to attack ONCE with that horrid attack. Also, no Normal-type moves on non-Normal Pokes. EQ and IB make Blastoise much more versatile, and its stats make it last quite a while. Use Rest/Chesto Berry to fully heal/cure status and then wake right up. Works great in-game.
I beat the Elite 4 over 20 times with them.
