NOTE: I will ONLY change the movesets, NOT Pokemon. I care about my pokemon, and stick to one main team. All Pokemon are female.

    Lv. 92 Flareon
Moveset: Overheat, Flamethrower, Body Slam, Fireblast (obviously used for I'm gonna quickly whoop you stuff)

    Lv. 65 Raticate
Moveset: Dig, Hyper Fang, Super Fang, Ice Beam (Super Fang is reliable for uberly strong and super weak pokemon, if I want to capture)

    Lv. 100 Raichu
Moveset: Thunder, Iron Tail, Shock Wave, Flash

    Lv. 60 Scyther
Moveset: Wing Attack, Cut, Rock Smash, Slash (HELP!!!)

    Lv. 61 Fearow
Moveset: Peck, Aerial Ace, Fly, Drill Peck

    Lv. 100 Blastoise
Moveset: Waterfall, Strength, Hydro Cannon, Surf

I beat the Elite 4 over 20 times with them.

Well I don't feel like rating cause i'm sleepy but I will tell you what all the people posting after me will... DONT GIVE YOUR POKEMON ATTACKING MOVES OF THE SAME TYPE!!!
WTF is Peck, Aerial Ace, Fly, Drill Peck Fearow.... THat set gets ownd by like a level 30 steelix
That Blastoise is sickening... 3 WATER MOVES WHY? You're going to hit Fire types with 3 different moves when one will do the same...WAISTE

Also limiting urself to not breeding is a bad idea as you need major damage control and without breeding ur team will be sup-par

I fail to see how Overheat/ Flamethrower/ Body Slam/ Fire Blast can beat anything. Don't think you are good because you can beat the Elite 4 with crap like 30 levels higher than them, it's not impressive. Why does Scyther have Wing Attack/ Cut/ Rock Smash/ Slash? More like Swords Dance/ Baton Pass/ Aerial Ace/ Silver Wind.

And why did you join in 2005 and only have one post.

Forgot about the site. Trying to get rid of moves for Blastoise, to make it like: Seismic Toss, Blizzard, Hydro Cannon, Surf. 2 same types, 2 others. That OK? Oh, and yes I do have problems with Flareon when it comes to attacking ground. Hmm... Overheat, Body Slam, (insert fighting type move), and I don't know. Silver wind? Good idea, if I knew how to get it -_-. Can't believe I was dumb enough to take out Swords Dance. Oh, and how will my team be supper? If I stick to advantages using the strong moves, while the other pokemon may launch a surprise super effective type on me, usually I will hit first because of my levels.

    Those are still bad moves.

Don't use more than one damaging move of the same type as they damage the same thing, so it doesn't make much sense save some cases. It'd be nice if you could breed for Curse and use the set Curse/Quick Attack/Body Slam/Fire Blast. If you can't then put Shadow Ball over Curse if you can get the TM

    Lv. 65 Raticate
Moveset: Dig, Hyper Fang, Super Fang, Ice Beam (Super Fang is reliable for uberly strong and super weak pokemon, if I want to capture)

Ice Beam isn't useful seeing his Sp. Attack isn't exactely stellar. Super Fang/Thunder Wave/Double-Edge or Return/Shadow Ball

    Lv. 100 Raichu
Moveset: Thunder, Iron Tail, Shock Wave, Flash

If you have Box, get one with Surf/Thunderbolt/Substitute/Thunder Wave. If not then put something over Surf like Focus Punch or Encore

    Lv. 60 Scyther
Moveset: Wing Attack, Cut, Rock Smash, Slash (HELP!!!)

Scythe isn't exactely the best ingame as it lacks movepool. Swords Dance/Silver Wind/Aerial Ace/Slash or something

    Lv. 61 Fearow
Moveset: Peck, Aerial Ace, Fly, Drill Peck

    Return/Drill Peck/Steel Wing/Filler preferably with Choice Band

    Lv. 100 Blastoise
Moveset: Waterfall, Strength, Hydro Cannon, Surf

    Surf/Ice Beam/Rest/Toxic

You need Team Building experience. Here are some tips
    - Don't use more than two damaging moves of the same type save some cases like Quick Attack;
    - Know how to tell the difference between Sp. Attacks and Physical Attacks. Special Attacks are Water, Grass, Electric, Fire, Grass, Dragon, Ice and Psychic. Physical Attacks are Rock, Ground, Steel, Fighting, Poison, Bug, Normal, Ghost and Flying.
    - Know which pokemon are better with Special Attacks and which with Physical. Generally a pokemon that gets more Physical moves by level up has higher Physical Attack and pokemon that mostly get Special moves have better Sp. Attack.
    - Use HP slaves. Only useful HM is Surf, everything else sucks. Get two pokemon like Wailord and Tropius and teach them HMs. They'll be your HM slaves.

    Because no1 mention this...

    https://www.smogon.com/advance/pokemon

This site has competitive movesets for all usable pokemon k?
Go there and read articles and see what not and then you'll be good

Movesets are competetively oriented, so most of them aren't useful for ingame. The only thing you need to worry about it is not having too many weaknesses to the same type and use common sense when making the movesets.

But those movesets still beat peck, drill peck, fly, aerial ace Fearow
Then again u can probably beat the game with the above Fearow

That's due to a lack of common sense

I've only been playing Pokemon for like 1 full month now and I know that people who teach Peck, Fly, Drill Peck, and Aeriel Ace to their Pokemon don't have a clue.

Quick Attack is an option on Fearow in-game for the Filler.

Curse Flareon is by far the best but this guy I bet doesn't want to make a new Eevee will his Flareon's at Level 92, and I might be crazy, but I do anything for good movesets.

Counter or Mirror Coat can fit onto Blastoise somewhere I guess but maybe its not the best option to go for in-game. You can try Bite if you want another special attack but its not prefered.

Wow, the posts just keep getting better.

    Fixes in bold:

    Lv. 92 Flareon
    Moveset:
    - Body Slam
    - Flamethrower
    - Quick Attack
    - Shadow Ball

Not only are 3 attacking moves of the same type a HORRIBLE idea, but now you just wasted a bunch of TMs that you could have used on other Pokes. Plus, since your Poke is female, you cannot even transfer the moves through breeding, as only males can do that. Bad, bad, bad planning. Hopefully you will learn from this. As for Flareon, know that it is the worst of the Eevee evos. You really should choose a different Poke, preferably not a Fire-type, as they are the weakest type in the game. At any rate, get rid of OH and FB, have it re-learn QA, and then teach it SB. Since its Atk is higher than its SAtk, the physical moves will do more for you and the above moveset will make your Poke more effective against more different types.

    Lv. 65 Raticate
    Moveset:
    - Quick Attack/Shadow Ball
    - Return

    - Super Fang
    - Thunder Wave

Unless you are willing to breed a new Raticate, I would again suggest a different Poke. First off, repeat after me "Two-turn moves suck, two-turn moves suck." Learn it. Live it. Love it. In the time it takes that two-turn Dig move to do damage, you could have attacked TWICE with a different move. Also don't teach Raticate special attacks like Ice Beam. Its base SAtk is only 50, which is pathetic. Also only use SF as your initial move, as that is when it does the most damage. Then you switch to Return. QA can be used, unless you didn't use SB on Flareon, or wisely chose a different Poke. TW is a Move Tutor move, but works great on Raticate. As you can see, the movepool is quite limited and also limits the options of your other Pokes.

    Lv. 100 Raichu
    Moveset:
    - Focus Punch/Brick Break
    - Substitute/Light Screen
    - Thunder Wave
    - Thunderbolt

Well, at least Raichu isn't too bad. It is still outclassed in every way by Electabuzz and Jolteon though. One thing that is good about Raichu is its base Atk. It can hurt things. Don't use Thunder though, as the accuracy will fail you more in-game than the benefit of the higher AP over Thunderbolt. TB is consistent. If you INSIST on keeping this guy, I would use the SubPunch option.

    Lv. 60 Scyther
    Moveset:
    - False Swipe
    - Silver Wind
    - Swords Dance

    - Wing Attack

As it has been mentioned many times before, Scyther isn't that great in-game. What it can do though is help catch wild Pokes, MUCH better than Raticate. You need to teach it False Swipe. With its high base Atk and Spd, it can rip through wild Pokes, and then leave them with 1 HP, making them much easier to catch. To teach it FS though, you will need to start over and teach it at Lv16. Since you are starting over, you might as well breed Silver Wind on it (breed with a male Beautifly that learns SW at Lv47) and make it more of a decent Poke. SD is a MT move, but well worth it.

    Lv. 61 Fearow
    Moveset:
    - Agility
    - Drill Peck
    - Quick Attack
    - Steel Wing/Toxic

Not a bad choice. At least it isn't Pidgeot. Still, Dodrio is a much better option. Fearow's movepool sucks, as you can see above. Go with Dodrio.

    Lv. 100 Blastoise
    Moveset:
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Beam
    - Rest

    - Surf

DO NOT use the crappy two-turn elemental attacks. Surf does more damage over the two turns it takes you to attack ONCE with that horrid attack. Also, no Normal-type moves on non-Normal Pokes. EQ and IB make Blastoise much more versatile, and its stats make it last quite a while. Use Rest/Chesto Berry to fully heal/cure status and then wake right up. Works great in-game.

I beat the Elite 4 over 20 times with them.
Saying that you beat the WEAK4 20 times with this team means absolutely nothing. Your team could be MUCH better. At least improve the movesets, if not most of your team. The key to being a good trainer is understanding what works and what doesn't. Good luck.

I took your suggestions, and this is my plans for a new team:

Blastoise: Hydro Cannon, Surf, Earthquake (haha electric types!), Seismic Toss
(I can't find any "sharply raises (insert stat here)" moves, so I put in Seismic Toss since she's lv. 100)

Raticate: Super Fang, Toxic/Icebeam, Dig/Scary Face (maybe, so if 2 more hits then my Raticate's gonna faint, and my oppenent is faster, use scary face), Counter (used for fighting types)

Fearow: Fly, Drill Peck, Mirror Move, Attract

Raichu: Thunder, Focus Punch, Iron Tail (super effective to rock... I think), Flash

Scyther: Slash, Swords Dance, Steel Wing/Return, Cut

Flareon: Overheat, Toxic/Smog, Sunny Day, Return

    Did I improve?

Just use this for Pete's sake. Its the same as the others but half the moves you changed we never suggested. This is a reminder.

    Blastoise @ Leftovers
    -Surf
    -Ice Beam
    -Counter/Mirror Coat/Rest
    -Counter/Mirror Coat/Rest

    Raticate @ Leftovers
    -Super Fang
    -Thunder Wave
    -Return
    -Shadow Ball

    Fearow @ Choice Band
    -Return
    -Quick Attack
    -Drill Peck
    -Sleet Wing

    Raichu @ Leftovers
    -Surf/Focus Punch
    -Thunderbolt
    -Thunder Wave
    -Substitute

    Scyther @ Choice Band/Leftovers
    -Swords Dance/Return
    -Aeriel Ace
    -Steel Wing
    -Silver Wind

    Flareon @ Leftovers
    -Quick Attack
    -Curse
    -Fire Blast/Overheat
    -Body Slam/Shadow Ball

Don't listen to Dawson, he's a spammer and will be banned soon.

No, it still needs a LOT of improvement. Don't use two attacking moves of the same type on one Pokemon (exceptions are like Quick Attack and Mach Punch). And don't teach HM moves to your main Pokemon.

Hydro Cannon sucks. And Seismic Toss is quite useless on it too.

Raticate: Super Fang, Shadow Ball, Return/Substitute, Thunder Wave
Raticate does not have good enough defense to use Counter or Toxic and Scary Face is a worthless move anyways. If you really wanted to lower your opponents speed, use Thunder Wave.

Fearow: Steel Wing, Drill Peck, Mirror Move, Return
Stll needs work. Don't waste your time with Attract on Fearow as it is too weak defensively to pull off.

Raichu: Thunderbolt, Focus Punch, Subtitute, Thunder Wave
Focus Punch is also supereffective against Rock and it's better too.

Scyther: Aerial Ace, Swords Dance, Steel Wing, Agility
Get an actual STAB move with Aerial Ace. Agility works as a filler seeing as how you don't seem to be the type of person to breed for new Pokemon to get better egg moves.

Flareon: Overheat, Return, Shadow Ball, Quick Attack
Smog is worthless and Toxic isn't too good either since Flareon doesn't have the defenses to Toxicstall. Go with Shadow Ball and maybe Quick Attack cause Flareon can't learn many good moves.

    Did I improve?

    Trainers have to make their own choices. Everyone has their opinion, I just want to see suggestions. Not change literally everything. (not saying this to you aragornbird) Oops, double post -_-;

I agree that trainers have to make their own choices. That is actually what sets good trainers apart from noobs/beginners. They are knowledgeable enough to know what is going to work and what isn't. Hopefully you have learned a lot from this thread. It will only make you better.

^^ Yup. I do admit I can be foolish with my movesets a lot. Hopefully I can get the Move Tutor to help me... Oh, and what's the strongest electric move Raichu can learn that takes at least 70 damage, and have at least 85 accuracy?
