Hello everyone. I would like to post the top 10 moments in Pokemon battles that always rub me the wrong way. I know all of us has gone through at least one of these, and I invite you to post your own BS moments that just grind your gears. I'm sure after some frustrating moments we all can use a good laugh. These are in no particular order since they ll annoy me just the same.

1- Your opponent lands a crit when you knew you'd normally survive that move.
2- Your move with 100% accuracy misses. (Yes, this actually happens!)
3- You cannot score a crit to save your life, but your opponent can hit you with Guillatine/Sheer cold/Fissure 2 times in a row.
4- Your opponent has all these Pokemon in his team at the same time:
    Porygon 2
    Cresselia
    Heatran
    Sableye
    Chansey/Blissey
    Suicune
5- You score a crit when your opponent had 1 HP left.
6- Your opponent uses a Togekiss with choice scarf and flinches you EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!!!!
7- Your Opponent uses a ditto with Imposter, and for some reason it always goes first no matter what!
8- Your Opponent's focus band succeeds 2 or even 3 times IN A ROW!!!!!
9- Thunder/Blizzard/Focus Blast/Fireblast misses more than twice in a row.
10- Your opponent's Blaziken uses protect twice in a row, AND IT WORKS!!!

^ Oi; not to sound snarky and condescending, attempting to correct these misconceptions - but if a move with 100% accuracy misses, your accuracy has dropped, or their evasion has been raised. Be it through weather + ability, a held item a la bright powder or lax incense, or some other factor - 100 accuracy means 100 percent chance to hit under normal circumstances.

And in the case of the imposter ditto - I think that's because it's probably scarfed yo. Imposter Ditto with choice scarf was something I didn't know about until just about under a year ago - but apparently it's actually quite common :U It just means whatever it comes in on, it's +1 speed stage above. Always.

otherwise I agree; haxy things are annoying. :I

My worst experience? I was up on an opponent like, 3 or 4 pokes to their one. Buuuuut, they used dark pulse. Annnnd they got at least 6 consecutive flinches. 6 flinches on dark pulse man. :/ It's 10% to flinch, and it just handed them the game on that many in a row. That was part of the decline of my enjoyment of singles.

That time during Generation Showdown when Primal Kyogre just used Origin Pulse until my whole team died.

That time during VGC Practice where my ass was handed to me by a Mega Beedrill VoltTurn core because I left Lucario on the bench.

That time in Battle Spot singles when Mega Mawile got me with a surprise Fire Fang.

Also, OP, you should really read up on the common stall Pokemon and learn how to Counter them @_@

Basically every single stupid bit of hax. Like yesterday I was on Battle Spot Singles, Zekrom vs Mega Slowbro, and I had Bolt Strike miss on me twice in a row followed by Fire Blast (idk why the fuck this guy was using Fire Blast on Zekrom) burning it, so basically I couldn't break it. Probably would've beaten it too:
    252+ Atk Teravolt Zekrom Bolt Strike vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mega Slowbro: 242-288 (61.4 - 73%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

    why is Mega Slowbro so mean to me ;-;

    But this:
5- You score a crit when your opponent had 1 HP left.
lmao, Fire Emblem, all the time
*plain old enemy has 1 HP left*
*Lucina uses Aether AND it crits*
jshfslgjdskgfsfksfkldsfas he had 1 HP why can't you do that on the boss or something?!

    I got another BS moment:

Turn 1- Suicune uses Scald, scald does minimal damage but burns.

Turn 2- No problem, Refresh cures burn.

Turn 3- Suicune uses Ice Beam, Pokemon is now frozen.

Turn 4- Trainer pulls own hair out at how lucky the opponent is.

    1. Trainers using legendaries.
    2. Trainers *suddenly* DC's when I sweep their legendary team with a Vivillon.
    3. Rotom, Sableye, Jolteon, Galvantula, Zapdos. They're too fast or too annoying for me to deal with.
    4. Mega freaking Kangaskhan.
    5. Trainers using wtf? moves, e.g. Arceus using Strength...
    6. Double Team + Protect + Scarf + Speed Boost Ninjask.
    7. Minimize Clefable.
    8. Trainers challenging me again and again and again until they win or if I let them win.

2- Your move with 100% accuracy misses. (Yes, this actually happens!)

A battle with this in action. Luckily, this moment was to my benefit. My opponent must be so mad right now!

    ZN5W-WWWW-WWXU-4AKH

1). Would've won by the skin of my teeth........but got flinched before I could use Recover.
2). Also would've won, but the opponent's Ice Beam did more damage than I thought and KO'ed my only counter to said opponent. It didn't do that much damage in the previous turn, and it wasn't a crit.
3). Would've won, but my Choice-Locked Chandelure missed its Fire Blast.

This has to be the greatest BS moment in any game. This moment alone is why Pokemon will never be looked as competative in my eyes. Because in the real world where RNG don't exist, I would have won.

    Imagine this scenario:

My pokemon has +6 to special attack with a choice specs to boot, and my opponent is about to die.

My pokemon's attack misses, 10% chance that would happen.

My opponent uses poison jab and gets a crit lowering my HP to only 16 points, 7.5% chance to crit.

My pokemon gets poisoned that same turn and faints, 30% chance to poison.

In other words: My opponent had only a .225% chance to win, and HE GOT IT!!!!!
