3rd Gen Natures

Can somebody explain to me the natures of Pokemon? What they mean, which ones are better, etc. I have a rash charmander... is that a good thing?

Well, here's all the Pokemon natures and what they do:

See, each nature of a Pokemon is like it's personality, and each "personality" increases one stat, yet in return, lowers another. You Rash Charmander, for example, get its Special Attack increased, but in return, its Special Defense gets lowered. Some natures, however, don't have any effect. ^_~

Natures is what your pokemon is like even thought that has nothing to do with that....For example...Your charmander has a Rash nature that makes its Special Attack rise fast...Its Special Defense will rise slower than usual...My charmander has a Modest nature that makes its Attack rise slowly...Its pecial attack will rise fast though....Here is some help...

Nature Attack Defense Special At Special DEf Speed
Admant Fast Slow
Bashful
Bold Slow Quickly
Brave Fast Slow
Calm Slow Quickly

Personalities do not affect how fast your Pokemon's stats will rise. It jsut lowers or raises a stat by 10 percent.
