All right. I've only started to start seriously training for link battles just now, and my team was pretty much optimized for in-game battles.

I'm FULLY AWARE that this team cannot compare to those of most of the serious players' out there; that's why I need your guys' help. ^_^ There's only one Pokemon player in my area, and since he's a Gamesharker, I'd love to beat him with some legitimately trained Pokemon.

I have almost every single TM/HM (I was saving them, heh) and a healthy supply of Heart Scales. Oh, and most hold items except for the rare berries.

Most of these guys are on the offensive side; like I said before, they were built for getting through the game. :P

    FLYGON (F / Modest) @ Soft Sand
    - Dragonbreath (thinking about teaching Dragon Claw)
    - Earthquake
    - Sand Attack
    - Crunch

    BLAZIKEN (M / Jolly) @ Charcoal
    - Blaze Kick
    - Sky Uppercut
    - Sand Attack
    - Mirror Move

    MIGHTYENA (F / Naughty) @ Blackglasses
    - Crunch
    - Sand Attack
    - Strength
    - Scary Face

    BRELOOM (M / Lonely) @ ???
    - Sky Uppercut
    - Mega Drain (thinking about teaching Giga Drain)
    - Stun Spore
    - Headbutt

    RAICHU (F / Serious) @ Magnet
    - Thunderbolt
    - Thunder (I'm DEFINATELY taking this out. There's no need for two Electric attacks, especially when one is only a little bit powerful than the other and horribly inaccurate.)
    - Thunderwave
    - Strength

    PELIPPER (M / Calm) @ Nevermeltice
    - Surf
    - Fly (thinking about taking out. He has terrible attack power because of his nature.)
    - Ice Beam
    - Supersonic (thinking about replacing with Mist)

    OTHER POKEMON AVAILABLE FOR TEAM
    - Swampert
    - Gardevoir (thinking about raising a different one due to ability)
    - Shedinja

Eeeep. Have fun with this and tear it apart. ^-^

*first of all, use leftovers for your items... you can get infinite amount of it by continously defeating battle tower*
*be sure your friend who you're playing against is not sharking for stats and moves that a Pokemon normally can't learn (sporing Starmie for example)... or else it's a pretty much no win situation*

*thinks the below should be good... hopefully

    Flygon @ leftovers- modest
    -crunch
    -dragonbreath/dragon claw
    -flamethrower
    -rest

Just to conserve that earthquake tm... let's make Flygon special sweeper. Do not lead off with him though... Rest is a tm but easily obtainable through chain breeding.

Blaziken @ leftovers- adamant (slightly more defensive) / lonely (all out attack)
    -flamethrower/overheat
    -Brick Break/Sky Uppercut
    -earthquake
    -Rock Slide/Return

Never had a fondness of mirror move... you need to get attacked first which is not good at all for Blaziken. Brick break is preferred over sky uppercut but if you want to save up the tm. Earthquake can be obtained by breeding with Camerupt.

    Mightyena @ leftovers/none - impish/careful
    -swagger
    -taunt
    -shadowball
    -protect/theif

Highly daring moveset... doesn't work all the time but will be powerful against stallers and stop buff up quickly. However if your friend is one of those all out attack no brainer, then do not ever use this... Can always jam in Toxic?

    Breloom @ leftovers- adamant
    -spore
    -brick break/sky uppercut
    -return
    -bulk up

Once again brick break is the preferred one... bulk up must be used as a tm sadly... but if you want to conserve your bulk up tm, try another physical attack there like sludge bomb?

Raichu @ lum berry (not a rare berry)- modest
    -thunderbolt
    -thunderwave/toxic (tm)
    -sweet kiss
    -encore/light screen/wish

Since Hidden Power is close to impossible on GBA... stick with the combo above... great annoyer. Good to lead off with. Normally thunderwave is used for protection but you can always try the toxic approach to help out Pelipper? (more damage output but a lot lower in defensive power... your call)

    Pelipper @ leftovers- modest/calm
    -surf
    -ice beam
    -rest
    -toxic

This guy's stats are... awkward? That's the best I can do... sorry...

(note: all of these toxic suggestiosn are possible even though they all need tm... I triple checked the breeding chain and it is possible... if you have the patience to breed through 3 egg groups)

    ^_^; *
