Need Help!

can anyone here teach me how to make a kinda watery mirror affect with photoshop?, i just wanna make it seem like the pokes are standing on glassy floor so they have a reflection but when i do it i press ctrl+u and mess with the colors but i cant get the "reflection" to fade, could someone plz help me, an example is my trainer card in my sig

you can also go to filter >distort >ripple

yeah i don't use this part of the site much and i just noticed that theres a sticky for this, ive tried google and it doesn't work, and a mod can close this now
