I need some help here to create a rom hack. I need a text editor that works with windows 10. I tried HopelessFrench's text editor but it says I need a qt and that stuff. Can someone create one that works with windows 10 or something like that without me having to script or hex edit?

you could patch the windows ten so that a-text editor works

the tutorial is for windows 7 but it worked for me and im on windows ten

or you could just use XSE to edit text

to add onto jazzy's answer, i use xse and text hex convert for everything i need text hacking
xse for adding, text hex convert for finding/editing/removing~

for just inserting text

and remember, there is a function for doing this
press ctrl + t from the main xse screen to insert text
