[Outcast]

(Haven't done this in a while)

This RP isn't going to have some big plot going on right from the start. Instead, It's going to have people starting as new trainers, and you get your starter pokemon at the begining. Everyone can influence the plot from then on, making this RP very open-ended.

The setting is the start of summer in Pallet Town in Kanto at Professor Oak's Lab, but you can start with pokemon from any continent, and the continent's can be travelled between via the ferry in vermillion and any towns with ferries in the other continents.

And keep in mind, you can still join after it starts, but you'll have to catch up.

Rules:

No starting with legendaries or any uber powerful pokes, but other than that, almost any pokemon will be alowed as your starter, but...
-It starts at level 5
-It has to be a non-evolved pokemon or a baby pokemon (aka. pre-evolutions)

Other:He rarely talks about his family to anyone, but he wears a gold pendant around his neck with the initials 'SS' engraved on it. It has a picture of someone inside, but he never shows it to anyone else.

Personality: Loyal, Kind, smart and funny
Starter Pokemon: Pichu
Other: When Alex was young, he had no pokemon friends so he did his homework and got smarter everyday. Now Alex wants to get his own pokemon, He wants to get a pikachu like his dad (Ash) but he thinks a pichu would be better. Now that everyone has gone n their own pokemon adventure Alex thinks its safe to go out into the world and not get chased by a mob of fans. Since his father is mostly home now Alex has learned more about being a pokemon trainer, his mom Misty is also home now so Alex also knows alot about being kind to his pokemon.

IC: Alex walked out of the house and towards the Lab of Prof.G.Oak, after Samuel Oak retired his Grandson Gary Oak took over the Pokemon Lab. It was about a 10 minute walk to the lab, Alex walked inside and up to Gary "Hello Prof." Alex said

"Oh hello alex, hows your dad?"

"He's fine..." Alex replied, Alex had always hated it when people asked about his father but since this was his father's friend he didn't mind. "I'm here to pick up my first pokemon"

"Ah yes... You were going to come here to get a Pichu right?" Gary said

"Yes, did it come yet?" Alex replied

"Yes it did, Bill just sent it over" Gary handed Alex a pokeball witha lightning shape on it.

"Thank you" Alex took the pokeball and waved goodbye as he walked out of the lab

"Good luck on your journey!" Gary shouted to him as he walked out.

Age: 14
Appearance: (No sprite..) Tall and thin with short hair that curls a bit at the ends, has a soft clear complexion (except for some freckles) and bue eyes.
Personality: Shy, but once she gets to know people, she can be a very dependable friend.

OOC: I forgot to say that he also gives you a pokedex (and it's like the one in the anime where it already has all the pokemon data in it, not the ones you have to fill yourselves)

IC: Lanzer finnished the 15 minute walk from his house on the outskirts of the town, and paused outside the pokemon lab for a few moments before walking in.

As he entered the lab, another boy about his age was leaving, holding a new pokeball.

"Hey" Lanzer said casualy as he walked by.

When inside the lab, he walked over to where professor Oak stood, several pokeballs on the table beside him. He'd met the proffessor many times before, because the prof. his father were good friends.

"Did you get the pokemon I asked for?" Lanzer asked the professor.

"Yes, It's right here." The professor said, handig him one of the balls. "And here's a pokedex, you know about them, right?"

"Yes I do, thanks." Lanzer said as he turned towards the door.

"Good Luck!" Prof. Oak called out as Lanzer openned the door to leave.

"Thanks again, but I should get out of here before more people come, I don't want to get in your way" Lanzer walked out the door and let his beldum out of it's ball. Then he looked around for the trainer he had seen before.

Alex was on the edge of Pallet town about to leave, when the same boy who Alex had walked by on the way out of the lab had spotted him "Crap" muttered Alex has he walked over to the boy "What do you want? If its an autograph or you want to meet my father forget it!" Alex said as he looked at the trees and bushes around town. He saw something, a Video Camera, two people walked out from behind the tree and towards Alex, one was a women around the age of 25 but Alex knew she was just wearing make up and that she was really around 32. The other person was carry a video camera, he looked to be about 37, the women turned around to face the camera once they had reached Alex and the boy.

"Were rolling in 5,4,3,2,1 and action!" The man said

"Hello, I'm Cathy Romano and I'm standing infront of World famous Ash Ketchum's son Alex Ketchum" The news reporter said

"Good girl, now what do want!" snapped Alex

"How dare you speak to me like that!"

"I can speak to you however I want and I can say anything I want too, like hmmm... Oh thats right how old are you?" asked Alex

"I'm 25!"

"No your not your around 39 and your just wearing make up to hide your age! Now get lost!"

"Wait! I now have the footage that will make people think that your the rudest person ever!"

"Pika?" Pikachu came running from Alex's house and over to him "Pikachu?"

"Pikachu use thunderbolt on them! Then steal that camera!" Alex said as pikachu smiled and used thunderbolt on the two

"Pika...CHU!" It yelled as a bolt of lightning came out of it's cheeks, frying the two adults. Pikachu then jumped up and grabbed the camera from the man, jumped down from the man's head and gave the camera to Alex

"Good work, now go home you can't come with me..." Alex took the camera and took the film out of it

"Pika...." Pikachu mumbled, he knew that Alex was going on his own journey like Ash did, so it went back into the house.

"Stupid reporters" Alex turned back to the boy "Now what do you want?"

"Now what do you want?"

"Calm down man, I was just just trying to be friendly, but it doesn't look like you want anything to do with me, so I guess I'll just be going now." Lanzer told the other boy calmly, and walked past him towards a large tree.

He leaned against the trunk of the tree and ket his eyes on the door to the lab, waiting to see who would come to claim the other pokemon.

Meanwhile, his beldum began to look around the town, following the pikachu with it's large eye until it dissapeared from view. It then began to examine the two reporters still on the ground.

So, he's Ash's son, huh... well, I guess I shouldn't have been so hard on him, it's probably tough having reporters following you around like that...

Lanzer walked back to the boy "sorry about how I acted there, but you should try to relize that not everyone is like them" Lanzer appologized, jerking his thumb in the direction of the reporters "frankly, I don't really care about who your parents are, and sorry if I sound rude, I just prefer to say what I mean outright. My name is Lanzer, and I believe they said you're name is Alex?" Lanzer extended his hand to see if Alex would shake his hand.

Kiri strode into the lab, her hands in her pockets. "I have your eevee." Professor Oak said as she approached him. "Great!" Kiri said, smiling. Oak walked over to a table with pokeballs sitting on it, grabbed one and brought it to Kiri. "Here he is." Oak said, handing her the ball "And by the way, I have this for you too." He handed her a small red plastic object. "What's this?" Kiri asked, looking down at it. "It's a pokedex!" Professor Oak said happily, "A complete pokemon encyclopedia. It will give you information on any pokemon you catch." Kiri smiled and put it in her pocket. She then rubbed the top of the pokeball with her thumb and walked toward the door. "Thanks Professor!" She said, waving as she left the building. She stared at the ball in her hands as she walked away from the lab. She had gotten her first pokemon...She decided to meet the pokemon she had chosen. "Go, eevee!" She shouted happily, tosing the ball in the air. A red beam of light emerged from the ball, hitting the ground where a small brown creature appeared. Her eevee! He looked up at Kiri curiously, and she bent down to pet him. He backed up a bit, but let her rub his ear. He then moved closer and let her stroke his head.

Alex shook Lanzer's hand "Ya my name is Alex, I should be the one saying sorry, its just that almost everyday someone runs up to me asking if they could meet my dad or get my autograph" Alex told Lanzer. He took the Pokeball off his belt "Go Pichu" Alex muttered as the small yellow pokemon came out

"Pichu!" It yelled happily as it jumped on its master's head, Alex smiled alittle

"So do you want to be travel partners or something?" Alex asked Lanzer.

"Don't worry about it" Lanzer tod him "I understand well enough" After he said that, he wished he hadn't, because he didn't want anyone to know... but he was sure Alex would understand if he did ask about it...

He called his beldum back from where it was still watching the two reporters, and it hovered in the air beside him, staring curiously at Alex and his pichu.

"And, actualy, I think I would like to travel with you, but right now, I'd like to see who the other trainers are that those other pokeballs are for."

As he finnished, a girl stepped out of the lab and released an eevee.

"Well, there's one now" He said and walked towards her.

"Hello." he said when he made it over "Did you just become a trainer too? Oh, and my name is Lanzer, and this is my pokemon, Beldum."

EDIT: I just found out now that the date of a trip I was supposed to be going on next week got changed to tomorow (nobody tells me anything -_-) but you can still continue on without me, just don't wait for me to answer you or anything...

"Hi!" Kiri said, looking up at the boy who had greeted her. "Are you a new trainer too?" Eevee walked toward the boy and sniffed his shoes. Then looked up at him as if to say 'Who are you?' "Vee..?" He cooed as he turned and trotted back to his trainer, who picked him up.

Alex followed Lanzer over to the girl "Hi..." He muttered

"Pi Pichu!" Pichu yelled happily from ontop its master's head.

"Yes, I just got my pokemon today, but anyway, it's nice to meet you."

His beldum hovered closely beside hims, staring curiously at the eevee and it's owner.

Kuro held the pink eyed,white eevee in her arms.It sniffed her shirt pocket curiously and kuro laughed and pulled a small blue berry out and gave it to her eevee.
