I found a guy on Craiglist with both a near-mint Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver. I'm sure alot of you know about the battery problem, but does anyone know if it applies to games that have never been played? I don't want to buy a game that I can't play. >_<

I think even if it hasn't been played, the battery will probably slowly be draining.
Although, I still have Silver and Crystal I purchased when they first came out, played hundreds of hours on them, and they're still working fine. Luck, I suppose.
