How ya'll doing, I just recently messed up half of my left hand due to a work related injury. I work carpentry have been for 6 years, so you can imagine what kind of injury I suffered. I am out of work for 6 weeks so I decided to buy a New 3DS XL. I purchased Y and Omega Ruby plan on playing through Y first then Omega. This is the first time I've ever played Pokemon since Crystal, but from what I've seen so far playing through Y my mind is blown the game is so different. Just hoping to get some info and tips during my six week downtime.

    Thanks,

Ouch, that injury sucks bad but I hope you can get back up from that and your hand should be back in working condition again. Anyways, welcome aboard Umbreon!

How are you enjoying your 3DS and Pokemon games? Both XY and ORAS have their niches and the fact it's even easier to trade and battle with fellow players, along with even more revolutionary changes the 6th Generation brought has seen so many old fans getting back into Pokemon again, but wow missing 3 entire generations in your case? Hopefully you do plan to catch up and see what you missed.

Hopefully you can stick around with us long-term because we'd love to see you get active and become a true part of the community. I'll see you around, but feel free to hit me up with a visitor message whenever you feel like it!

Thanks for the welcome Hikamaru, I'm loving the New 3DS XL so far its kind of like a mini laptop when I'm not playing Pokemon. Well I've never played since Crystal so my mind is pretty blown with this whole new Gen 6 thing. My one brother talked me into buying this 3DS during my injury time. I am hoping to put some time and questions about Gen 6 over time.

Bluh that really sucks.. but being out of work is awesome, heh. :D; So that's the upside, possibly?, but either way I'm really sorry that happened. Big welcome to PC and nice to meet you, Umbreon! Seems like we've quite a lot of fans of that dark eeveelution here.

Yeah, X/Y and OR/AS are absolutely stunning without a doubt. OR/AS are some of my personal favorite games and I feel GameFreak did Hoenn so much justice with the gorgeous graphics and enhanced gameplay. Looking forward to having you discuss this wonderful franchise here with us. Have a blast!

Guess I am back to Pokemon again lol another work related injury to my left ankle. Cant really walk and such for the next six months. I still have my 3DS XL, ordered Sun & Moon going to arrive by Tuesday. Looking forward to it and happy to be back on here, going to contribute as much as i can.

Well you've certainly come to the right place ohohoho! There is so much to discuss about the newest Generations of Pokémon! I'm still blown away from how its morphed throughout the years! I've been around since the days of Pokémon Blue Version, so it's been quite the journey! Also, don't tell you're boss you've been injuring yourself just to talk to us ohohoho! Of course, I'm joking and mean no offense. I know what being out of commission is like. It blows. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you ever have any questions or if you just want to hang out!
