I wanna know about the new Pokéballs in D/P...

At the moment, I know that there will be the Heal Ball and the Dark Ball...Are there new Pokéballs?

Health Ball fully restores a Pokemon once it is captured... But I forgot about the Dark ball.

The Dark Balls works better in dark places such as caves or dungeons and at night :D

I think Health Ball is unique, like Luxe Ball xD

Heal/Health Ball recovers a Pokémon after it has been caught while the Dark
Ball facilitates the capture in dark places as the caves or anywhere
    during the night.

Why isn't there a Sun Ball? Answer: Because most of us play during the day.

The new balls were announced ages ago, but since most people seem to not know them, I'll just go with the flow.

They are nice, though Health ball is pretty useless unless you are able to get it pretty early. And I thought Shinou didn't have many caves?(dark ball)

There's a huge mountainous region. And it can be used at night, I believe.

Why? They added the dive ball because you could use dive in R/S, though that won't nake a return here. So they added some new ones. It's always cool to have new balls.

The Health Ball is unique like the Friend Ball (and its counterpart the Luxury Ball), in that while no more effective at catching certain Pokémon, it improves the Pokémon inside - in this case it restores HP.

Well...The Dark Ball can be used at night, so it is useful...xD

Catching Legendaries at night will be much easier with the Dark Ball, I think. And with 10-13 of them (depending on if you count the three legends not readily available in the game), we're gonna need it...

    Maybe spoilers:

A list of some of the 'special' Pokeballs, (as stocked in the Pokemon League store):
    - Dark Ball
    - Heal Ball

    - Net Ball (can capture Water types and Bug types more easier)
    - Nest Ball (becomes easier to catch weaker Pokemon)
    - Quick Ball (is most effective at the begging of combat)
    - Timer Ball (is most effective as the combat becomes longer)
    - Repeat Ball (effective if you've already caught the target Pokemon atleast once)
    - Luxe Ball

Oh yes, the Dark Ball is very effective at catching most of the legendaries :)
