New Status problems

    If there had to be one more status problem, what would it be and what would it do to the pokemon that had it? What ideas do you have?
     
    Temporary one turn blindness maybe. Closest thing we'll get to a Light type, eh? Opponent's accuracy is halved for the remaining turn (assuming he strikes last). It's like a weaker flinch.
     
    I guess i should take that as a offense since my sis' is legally blind.
    but isn't that what flash is?
    ghost? where it's moves wont' work on normal, fighting or flying. kinda like the type.
     
    the Pokemon can not make any moves because it's stunned for some odd reason until the trainer switches them out

    How about one called:
    Beserk - A Status Condition where your turn gets automatically and randomly chosen with a range of all of your moves. The Status will either end if used with a "Full Heal","Craze Heal" or any other status healing items. In battle if the status is kept,it will end in 2-3 turns,outside of battle the status will act like a Poison Status. The Pokemon with the Beserk Status outside of battle will lose 1 hit point every 2 steps.

    I don't think there's much besides Silence on that front, aside from the aforementioned Berserk. Silence is taken too, anyways, in the form of Disable.
     
    I'll do a Final Fantasy Status Effect check list.

    Regen - Aqua Ring is pretty much the same thing
    Poison - We have our own one
    Reflect - I guess Mirror Coat is pretty much this
    Oil - This would be helpful for fire Pokemon
    Mini - We kinda have this only it helps the person being minimized
    Silence - Pretty much Disable
    Disease - Too powerful for Pokemon
    Berserk - We have thrash, it's kinda the same
    Toad - I don't think this will be used
    Haste - Agility much
    Blink - Same as Double Team
    Sleep - We have this
    Float - Have it
    Temper - Swords Dance, Temper same thing
    Blind - Sand Attack
    Stop - This would be nice
    Slow - String Shot time
    Annoy - Won't really work unless it's a double battle
    Confuse - Why must we have this?
    Limit Break/Overdrive/Trance - Imagine Pokemon having this
    Shell - Light Screen
    Protect - Barrier

    I guess the FF's annoy status would be a nice touch for double battles.

    What it does is when you have the status and you get hurt your whole party takes damage along with you.
     
    I want to see a bleeding status. Same thing as poison, except it removes less health per turn and halves physical defense. It could be caused by moves like slash, night slash, cut, and such.
     
    Any more status moves would be horrible, it's tough enough as it is. However, I think they should make confusion become a status effect rather than what it is now. Things like accuracy would be useful to have as status effects too, but wouldn't work because then you would need a status effect for lowered defense, increased attack and all sorts of things.
