I've known about this board for a while, but I've finally decided to join it.
My name is Toastypk, I also go by the handle Parakarry in other places. I am a staffer at a Mario sprite resource site, but I'm also a very, very big fan of the Pokemon games.
I'm an active player in Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Dungeon, and I love them all. Some of my favorite Pokemon are Typhlosion, Swampert, Lucario, Flygon, and others. Favorite legendaries include, but not limited to, Dialga, Celebi, Latias, and Zapdos. I also love the Mario series, Zelda series, and I'm great at Smash Brawl.
I've never been crazy of the whole Pokemon tier system; I believe that if you're really awesome with a particular Pokemon and do great with him or her, it shouldn't matter if he is overused or underused.
The only classification that really matters to me is the legends and higher legends/ubers rank.
I'm also an artist on Deviantart. I draw lots of video game related pictures, mostly Pokemon and Mario series. Though I've been on a long drawing break, I'm currently planning a drawing of Lucario and/or the adorable Lake Trio. :3
I'm also really against cheating in Pokemon games to gain unfair advantages, especially in forum-wide tournaments. It really discourages me when people who train hard and work toward good IVs and rare Pokemon have to encounter people who are lazy and just push a few buttons on a computer program like Pokesave and pop a flawless shiny Arceus or Darkrai out in no time.
I'm also not a fan of cloning, I personally don't take Pokemon and items in trades that were cloned, it just seems cheap, so I always ask before I make trades. It takes all the hard work out of getting rare TMs and items, and makes rare and unique Pokemon less unique.
