    To quote my own post on another (non-Pok?mon) forum I go to on the new interface design of iTunes 5:

    The new look does look OK, but it seems a bit... bald (?) to me. And I do think that they are taking a leaf out of Windows Vista (Longhorn)'s design evolution. Remember those oversized caption bars in 'Longhorn' 4053/4074, only to have them slimmed down in beta 1 of Vista?

    And I could like to add here that it is starting to look rather amateurish to me. And they did nothing to improve the sound quality!

    Sound quality? I don't have a problem with that. O_o;

    Play a song in Windows Media Player/Winamp, and then play the same song in iTunes to get what I mean. o_O;

    With the new version of Winamp, it's actually much better quality than iTunes or WMP.

    Yeah, I've noticed the bad sound quality in iTunes on Windows machines compared to Mac OS X machines. I think Steve Jobs had them do that on purpose so that audiophiles would rush out and buy a Mac for the better quality sound. Jobs is like that. Woz, on the other hand, isn't as mean. I like Apple, I like their products, but I honestly don't like Jobs.

    Anyway, the iPods have never appealed to me. I personally perfer my 512MB Phillips GoGear over anything the iPod throws at me. The iPod Nano is no different.

    iTunes Mobile, what the heck were they thinking? Wouldn't that 100 song limit be more likely to turn people away? It doesn't matter, though. I doubt there will be much demand for it.

    Edit: Now that I look at it, the new iTunes interface does look nasty. To think, I gave up my Quicktime 6 Pro license for this. *sigh* Now I've got to buy a new license.

    When I saw the comerical for the iPod nano I knew that is the mp3 player I was gonna get. I am not a big fan of iPod because of thier cost, but I like the compactness of this one. Plus 500 songs is more than enough for me.
