I don't know whether this is appropraite to place it here, but since my tale mostly involves Pokemon Pearl, I'll leave it here.

About a week ago, we got a wireless router. We managed to get the Wii connected and the PSP, but not our DSs. After my sis did a bit of tinkering, I did get a brief moment of connection.

However, somepoint later, I tried to connect to the GTS in Pokemon, but a message keeps popping up saying something along the lines of "There's no acess point in range" - even when I was sitting next to the bloomin' thing.

I found out that it wasn't only affecting my Polemon game, but all my other DS games that use Wi-Fi. Strangely, my sister's DS games aren't affected.

Does anybody know what's going on or does anyone have a similar experience to this? If so, could anyone help me please? Thanks.

(PS. If this is the wrong place to ask, by all means, move this thread.)

did you find the acces point if not go to the menu go to Nintendo wi-fi connection then do search for acces point if it is locked you have to put in the codes then it will work

When you get to the menu of Pearl go to Nintendo WFC Settings. Depending if you have a Nintendo USBS Connector go to "Connect to your Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector" or if it's a different type of adapter go to connection one. If a connection exists it will bring it up and you should have no problem using Nintendo Wifi. However if it does not connect then the problem lies with your adapter.

If the above advice don't work, please call the toll free number: 1-800-895-1672. I am sure that the Nintendo Wi-Fi custumer service will be more than happy to assist you. They usually have solutions to every problem. Give it a try.

    Thank You

Thanks, although I still don't understand why only my sister's DS works. <looks puzzled>

I doubt it would be the router itself. It must be my DS!
