I wouldn't worry about the cards, since they're owned by Konami and Wizards, not by WB. They won't be taken off the shelves. If Wizards did that, we'd have lost D&D years ago, and Magic The Gathering would be non-existent. To put it another way, Gen-Con wouldn't exist any more.

If Konami did that, about ten dozen Castlevania games would have been taken off the shelves as well, since they're satanic.

The Yu-Gi-Oh cards being called witchcraft is just going to increase their popularity. Kids will be playing the card game because their Parents tell them not to.

As far as the show goes, let WB take it off. Cartoon Network will just pick it right up and show it un-edited. That'll give the parents something to cry about.

Umm yeah...check your sources. That's not true, ANN hasn't said anything about it. And even still, a TV show can't be taken off the air for those reasons. It's the parent's job to know what they're kids watch, like with Pokemon a few years back, it's just a bunch of people using the show as a scapegoat on their bad parenting. A show can only be taken off if it goes beyond what channel limits and S&P and FCC allow sometimes. And Yuugiou isn't owned by KWB, it's owned by 4Kids in the US, KWB just airs it.

But yeah as far as I know, it's fake, and a show can't be pulled for those reasons.

Actually, they can. I've seen it happen before, but Animes are a bit different than American-Made shows. Parents can say that kind of stuff about it, but then they get labeled as people that hate the Japanese.

No...it can't. As long as it breaks no FCC regulations a show can't be pulled from the air. The only thing that could do that is low ratings, and Yuugiou still provides KWB with pretty good ratings.

They aren't going to take it off the air. It's probably one of, if not the, main moneymakers in their lineup.

<_< People say all this stuff about Harry Potter, too, but bookstores don't pull it from their shelves. If anything, it makes the series stronger. I think it happened with Pokemon, too, and that's the same case here. Plus, I don't see anything about it on Time Warner's press release site, and that would definitely say something. Nor does it say anything at 4kids' site, and I'm certain they would mention it too.

They aren't going to do that. If they did, they'd bring it to cartoon network or something (i dunno). It already has been edited A BILLION TIMES, taking out the first real season. Disturbed parents just shouldnt let there kids watch it o_0 it's not like they cant take the remote and turn it off...

As i recall, tehy were just moving the show to the 4kids lineup not sure though, blue and lightning are much more knowledgable than i am at this stuff XD...anyways, please don't make hate threads...Least Favorite Character thread is an acception since the posts there already actually say why they hate a certain character(or from what I've seen)

The only thing changing about the YGO franchise is that YGO GX is coming to CN in the Autumn, probably on Miguzi or PrimeTime. KWB are not cancelling it just yet...
