    ...Has this ever happened to you? I understand. XD;

    Do people always misspell or mispronounce your name, IRL or your online screen name?

    Both my IRL name and my online screen name get misspelled frequently. My name IRL is Natalie, and because I'm part French, and I speak French, people automatically assume that my name is spelled the French way, which is with an "h". So, it ends up being "Nathalie." >:

    Online, people just tack an extra "t" to "Scarlet" because that's the way Scarlett Johanssen spells hers~ XD;

    People have called me "Nicole" IRL, but I'm not sure how you get that from "Natalie." :x

    So, has something like this happened to you? We understand~ \o/

    XD this happens to me erveyon once and a while
    My username is Dr.Stiles some people call me Dr.Styles
    Lol it doesnt get on my nerves but I laugh ^_^

    Heh, don't get me started... >_>

    My RL name is Glajummy (sounds EXACTLY the way it's spelled) but since it sounds so exotic, people automatically assume it's spelled in a weird way. So far I've gotten: Glagummy, Glajdummy, Gladummy, Lajummy, and Glajumii. This is the main reason I have everyone simply call me Glaj or Gummy.

    Kelsey is pretty easy to pronounce so that doesn't happen too often. Though, I like it when people with different accents say my name. They make the "e" sound at the end sound really cool :3 I actually just remembered that people always ask if I spell it "Kelsie" or Kelsy" "Kelsi". Which isn't bad because it's all pronounced the same way. As for my last name...I think one person who wasn't related to me ever got it right. People always butcher it x_x And this has been going on since I can remember so I give up and let people say it.

    Um, like Scarlet, one of my nicknames is Nicole too because someone thought that was my name XD;

    My real name is 'Rachel', fairly easy to pronounce, but a lot of people like to use the more complicated spelling 'Rachael' for some reason. WhyTF is that second A even there? I hate that spelling. >:| My last name gets misspelled a lot too.

    For the record, 'Spaekle' rhymes approximately with 'bagel'. I don't mind 'SPY-kul' either (I use it myself sometimes xD) and I suppose I can tolerate 'Speekle', but it's not 'Speckle'. Is there any other way it can be said? D: The 'Oddberry' should be self-explanatory.

    People tend to misspell my online alias a lot. For some reason, people call me Lighting as if I named myself after a lamp. :| I've gotten used to it now, but it used to really bother me. XD;

    As for my RL name, it's easy to pronounce, but I do get misspelling sometimes. Erica has at least three different spellings (and a debatable fourth) so that's not surprising.

    Um. Yes.

    All the time. *looks at kelsey* Yes, anyway, I thought my name was kind of straight forward in how you pronounce it, I guess I was wrong. Both of my names XD;

    Chikara - Chee-car-uh
    Teresa- Tea-re-suh

    The closest people come to mispronouncing my real name is "Tree-sa" That. Is. So. Annoying. I. Am. Not. A. Tree. So please, us Teresa's of the world would appreciate it if you lazy people would not slur our name and say Tea-re-suh. That's a little more wide-scale problem than non-Teresa's realize :<

    As for misspelling, dear god here we go x_x;

    Terea, Teera, rwewa(...yeah... it's happened),Theresa, Tereesa

    ...The list continues... xD;
    Look at how much a managed to rant about my name :D

    I don't think I've ever had my name mispronounced or misspelled; I don't know any ways to mess up the name Samantha as is. As for nicknames offline, people can spell it Sammi, Sammie, or Sammy, and I honestly don't care. I'd only be picky online because of my username.

    Online, my name really isn't misspelled, either. Usually it's pretty straightforward. Even when I had Nayana as a name, I can't remember people messing it up. Odd, you think they would. :s

    Perhaps there is an advantage to having the name Samantha... for a change. (It's a good name but too common >_<)

    I really only go by Andy everywhere, and people typically know how to spell it. My last name, however, is the one get wrong all the time. Well, they used to, until the show 'House' came on.

    But I have been asked whether I was a girl or a guy before. xD

    Yeah, this happens to me all the time. >_>; Both with my first and last names.

    I always have to spell "Kayleigh" out to people because it's not a very common name around here. Or if I do meet someone who shares it, the spelling is always different (e.g. Kaylee or Kayley). It gets annoying sometimes, but I've gotten used to it... I guess I don't mind having a more unique name. XD;

    My name is Kristin, but it's spelled Kristen a lot. Really annoying... My middle name is also misspelled but I don't want to say it.

    ALL THE TIME. ;__; IRL mostly.
    So, my name is 'Karli'.. as in 'Carly'. The spelling is pretty uncommon, and not what a lot of people are used to. A lot of people haven't even seen it spelt that way before.. so they always spell it wrong.

    As for pronouncing it.. it's fairly simple. "Car-lee"
    BUUUUUT.
    People have called me "Kary" and "Karin" and a few others as well. It's very frustrating. x__x

    I get called Jared all the time. Not that annoying, so I just say, "Yeah. My name is pronounced just like that."

    But, then other times people just completely screw up my name and I'm like, "...no. It's ---."

    You don't get to see my real name. :>

    IRL My name's Aaron but a lot of people spell it as Erin. I don't really care though since it's nothing to get worked up about. I just laugh a little. I'd like to change my name or go by something else though. Like Ausaudriel I've got a first and 2 middle names to choose from.

    ..Actually, my real name is "Miguel," but since that sounds retarded, I just go by "Michael"

    It's..kinda hard to mispronounce "Michael" seeing as, like..2 of every 10 boys have that name. It's bland, and unoriginal, so everyone knows it.

    As for my last name, it's "Barrett." i don't care who knows that, it's not like someone's gonna come after me and rape me, based on the fact that they know my last name ._.

    People are always saying that wrong, though..it irritates the hell out of me. It's pronounced exactly how it's spelled, but I always get "Barrette," like what a girls wears in her hair, and I'm like "WRONG AGAIN, BETCH >O"

    ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME! >.<

    I can only remember like... 2 people who can acctually get my first name right that AREN'T in my family xDD (If a nine-year-old (and even younger) handicapped boy can pronounce my name right, then it can't be THAT hard >.>)

    and for some reason my science teacher, Mr. Yoder calls me "Annie" or "Amber" every time I call him "Mr. Phillips" (Don't ask me HOW I confuse a spikey-haired teacher with a blonde guy... o_O)... I don't know how you get that from "Adomany"... -.-
    Ironically another student in the same class is named "Annie"...
    Another ironic thing is that dad's friend called me "Amber" o_O
    How the heck are people getting the nick-name "Amber"?

    I've gotten "Domonique" "Adomanique" "Ah-DOUGH-many"and... people fumbling over the name on the first encounter xDD (It's "Ah-Dom-Ahnie")

    when I get the "name-fumble" I just go "just call me Ada..."

    At home "Ada" is pronounced "Ah-Dah" but everywhere it's pronounced "Ay-Duh"... I really don't care though, since in public I pronounced it "Ay-Dah"...

    ~~~~~
    My last name (Thoma) doesn't exactly in peace either... ppl spell it like "Thomas" "Toma"... I think I even got "Tomea" or something... at least ppl can pronounce it. xDD
    ~~~~~

    even online (here specifically) ppl can't spell it right...

    I keep getting: "~kitsune" "kitsune" "kit".....................................

    GET IT STRAIGHT PEOPLES! IT'S:

    ~KiTsUnE

    People ask me if Benjamin is spelled with a "i" or "a" which is weird, as I thought you could only spell Benjamin with a a but oh well lol

    I haven't gotten many people to mess up on my name, I mean Gerri, that's not hard. (the pronunciation is the same as the name Jerry, my name's just more eccentric with the way it's spelled) and if you cannot pronounce my last name, please do everyone a favor, go back to phonics class.

    Both >_<

    My username is often pronounced "Koh-nee-koh" ._. It's "Koh-nay-koh".

    And my irl name is Kaydee, which everyone assumes is spelt "Katie" xP
