Yes, Noobert is my poetic name because I'm still new to the whole poetry thing, and even though I can write a great poem in my mind, I can never write it down properly. Though, this is one of the few I think came out remotely well, so I'll post it ^^
Ring
A lonely boy sits and cries,
his empty life filled with lies
has landed him all alone
He remembers nights at home,
every hour on the phone,
His friends were always there,
though he never seemed to care.
He threw it all away so fast,
now he doesn't feel he'll last
He spends nights alone,
waiting by the phone
but no one ever calls,
no, no one ever calls.
One more night he waits and waits,
though he feels it's all too late
He writes his friends a farewell,
before heading on to the well,
He'll never wait again,
he's finally found his end
He threw it all away so fast,
now he doesn't feel he'll last
He spends nights alone,
waiting by the phone
but no one ever calls,
no, no one ever calls.
As his final breath is drawn,
the calming lights signal dawn
and in the distance,
he hears a ring.
