Not my Royal Doulton with the hand-painted periwinkles!

I don't know. I've broken a fair share of things in my life but most of that was when I was much younger and I can't really remember much now and I probably don't want to recall those memories either.

My friend's conservatory... We were messing around with a skipping rope and swinging it around etc (we were like 12?) and it got caught on a support in the corner of the ceiling. So we pulled on it to try and get it back and, well, the whole thing collapsed. xD I was extremely noble and courageous and ran homing spending the next week at home off school not talking to anyone. I haven't heard from him since; wonder who got blamed...

I can honestly say I've never broken anything that doesn't belong to me, and if I did it was very small that they really didn't care about. Hell, I barely break anything that does belong to me. I'm very careful and considerate of what belongs to others.

Now, looking at it from the other side, I had a friend that sat on my 15" MacBook Pro about a year ago.
I no longer have that friend.

Every Nintendo DS Lite I have ever owned. It's like, idk, I'm just the reaper of these things. I've been through three in four years. It's ridiculous.

I've never really broken anything of high value. I...wrote on the walls when I was 3? I did lose a very expensive ring though, and one of my mom's necklaces, if that counts.

I never break things nor do I know anybody with anything of much value. I broke a cheap crappy mirror once when I was about 3 years old. That's about it.

A DS Lite, but I didn't exactly break it. The humidity at the same made my hands very slippery and caused me to drop the DS, and cracks slowly began to form. Eventually the top screen fell off its hinges and it hung by a single wire. After a few weeks, it stopped working. At least the DS's pain had ended. And I guess I was "caught", but I still blame whatever made me drop it.

Other than that, nothing too expensive. I did write on the leather seats of my mother's car, but it was nothing cleaning supplies couldn't handle.

When I would hangout at friend's houses all the time I was usually not permitted to handle anything without asking and forced to sit on the bed away from everything. :( I honestly don't even know how it happens. One moment I'm holding something next moment it's on the floor in a million pieces.

Of my own things I think the most expensive was my first phone. I had literally only had it for maybe a week and it was in my front pants pocket when I walked into the corner of a table. It smacked the screen and ended up smashing it.

Of other things there was the kitchen sink. I was just washing dishes and like pulled on the faucet slightly for some reason. I think I was trying to move it over and it just started spurting water everywhere and making death noises. My dad had to replace it lol.

Another thing that I didn't break, but just thought of was once I slept over a friend's and she put this red dye gel in my hair and then that night I slept on her white couch. Completely covered the cushions in red dye, could not get it out, had to flip them over and hope to god no one would ever flip them back.

My cousin's family had this old, handmade wooden dollhouse that we broke when we were maybe 6 or so. I don't even remember how it happened, but the whole side of it that opens fell on the ground and split into a bunch of pieces. I have no idea if it was really expensive, but it probably was.

Oh, and Mallory, your post reminded me that I broke a water pipe when I was abroad. It was a winter like I have never known here in California and I didn't know about pipes freezing when you leave then for a week without heat while they still have water in them. Oops.

My MP3. I let my best friend borrow it....and she let her crush borrow it. Funny thing is, she told her crush it was her's. He then sold it to another guy, since he knows she doesn't care for her stuff. I never got it back. So yeah, that's my story.

I broke a window once from leaning back, leaning the couch back, hitting a vase, which pushed into the window and cracked it. Also once I pulled shingles off of a roof which was probably expensive to fix. ;x

A mirror in my room. I've broken other stuff but can't really remember in particular however I got yelled at like crazy for breaking that with my skateboard ;x

My grandma got me an mp3 player for my birthday. It had a harddrive in it, so after dropping it a few times, I ruined it. It wasn't even two months old yet. Still upset about that since it was a gift. I'd probably still be using it had I not stupidly dropped it so much. T____T

And that's why when I got a new mp3 player, I made sure it had flash memory. I drop that thing all the time and it still runs, even after all these years.

I don't know how much it was worth, but I broke my mum's favourite glass figurine (I believe it was of a crane or a heron or something) by accidentally throwing a cushion in its general direction. She was kinda devastated, and I felt ridiculously bad afterwards... but she forgave me and all went back to what it was before.

I was at my best best friend's house during the summer. It was a summer where I pretty much lived at his house, and didn't go back to my house or talk to anyone there for about a month. Anyway, I was sleeping over and when I woke up, I went to the bathroom. After I was done, I washed my hands and for some reason, I decided I would sit on the sink. I don't really know what was going through in my mind, but when I got up, I turned back to the sink and leaned on it to primp or something, and the sink snapped from the wall. I pushed the sink back into place and it stayed there then I went back to the basement and pretended that it didn't happen.

This post was such a heart breaker for me.

You sir are a legend.

Yeah now that I think about it, I did somehow wreck one of my old DS systems. It happened when I was playing it on a flight to kangaroo land a few years ago. When I got off the plane and played it again, the bottom screen was all fuzzy and stuff. Otherwise it's fine though and I eventually ended up giving it to Rednael cause I didn't need it anymore lol.

I don't know. I have broken lots and lots of cheap things in my life, but when it comes to expensive ones, I've had far more luck so far. Jalousies probably, I've destroyed at least two or three of them, that adds up.
