i like it. i remember my first Anime character... he was a guy tho, so he had smaller eyes. i love the eyes and the hair. just two things. straiten out the arms a lil bit, and make the nose a bit smaller and straighter, since she's a girl. ^^,

I think it's very good for a first try! ^_^ You certainly have talent. :D Drawing humans is one of the most difficult things to draw! The only major thing I would suggest is to add some shading to the pic to give it more depth ^_^ But you definitely have a good start here! I especially like her eyes!
