    Keep in mind this is my first entry into OVP, and I haven't made a topic in AGES... Plus, I didn't see a topic like this that was less than a month old...

    There are plenty of people out there who like giving inanimate objects human or pet names. A lot of people tend to name their guitars, for example.

    So, have you ever given a human/animal name to (an) inanimate object(s) before? Or have you ever thought about it? Or do you think it's just plain weird and would never do it? XD

    Or did you think this blog entry was going to be about something dirty and came to check it out so you could report it? XD
     
    I called my amp "Fred" as a joke.
    But i've actually named anything else.
    I'd like to name my plectrums individually..
    "Good morning Bob, Mary, Joseph, Phil, Lil, Tommeh, Margret, Doris.. ect ect."
     
    OMG, I DO THIS ALL THE TIME.

    My laptop is called Bilby, my nano is called Napolean and my hairbrush is called Bevin.
    I have loads of others but.. nyeah. Don't wanna sound too crazy.
     
    Actually, yes. My friend and I did this one time when we were living together. It started when we got an internet phone that requested we give it a name. So we branded it "Dave." A while later, we got a PS3, which also required a name. Thus was born "Dave 2." We then had to create a virtual memory card to play PS2 games, and "Dave 3" was welcomed into the world. And from then on, every electronic device has been named "Dave#."
     
    My laptop is called "Lappy" if that counts XD
     
    I call my laptop "Lappytop" and my trombone "Trombydrum", "Tromby", etc. XD;

    But, I also named my laptop Red. Not because it's red, but because a lot of the desktop wallpapers I downloaded seem to have red in them. Not coincidental, of course XD My laptop case even has a red base.

    I also call it the "Grimoire of Lucia" because I'm Lucia (or at least, that's my pseudonym), and it has a lot of information (mainly on the internet, but...), somewhat like a grimoire would.
     
    My friends name their cosplay weapons... An old friend of mine named her lava lamp 'Monty'. Myself? I've never really done it. XD
     
    When I first got my laptop I named her Ruby, mainly because if the color.

    My Xbox is called Jerk, I named my fan Optimus Prime, my laptop is called The Führer, my friends and I called a table Tod (we named a rock too and called him Hubert Cumberdale, named after one of Salad Fingers' friends), and every traffic cone I see I name it Kyle.

    No. It's never really appealed to me, tbh. Also I suck at naming things. My iPod is named Sam's iPod, for Pete's sake. :(
     
    All I ever used to name was my stuffed animals and actual pets. I a cat called Milo and another cat called Tim-Tam at one stage. Tim-Tam was the mother of Milo.

    Other than that I named an ant and then struggled to find it in the line again. D8

    My friend used to name ants and then eat them. Ew.

    No... I have (probably) never done such a thing.
