    Well, we're playing truth or dare, and I got told to do this, so..yeah.

    Anyhow, the question is basically 'Would you date a mod or not?'

    For me? Well, I'm with Gummy [Baromega] so that much should be obvious. :o
     
    No, they're disgusting, vile creatures who have no souls. I don't see why anyone would.
     
    I doubt them being a mod would ever make a difference to me. I am interested in somebody based on their personality, not their higher status. My pair is an ex-staff member but I certainly didn't pair with him because of that, I just wouldn't find it in myself to get close to anybody for their rank, because lord knows that alone is just a lifeless, albeit critical asset to a duty on this forum.

    But that doesn't mean it's wrong to date a staff member. But it stands that there should always be a good reason for why you'd want to take that move with anybody in general.
     
    Noel Fielding is considered a mod. And he kinda looks like a woman.

    But unfortunately, none of the Mods here live TOO close to where I live...sadly :[ Or at least from what I know.

    Now ones on other forums/sites (you didn't specify if they were Mods from THIS forum or wherever, but I supposed it's recognized, but hey XD), also depends :3

    Though frankly, I'm thinking of staying single the rest of my life.

    About 90% of the mods here I personally think are unfit for their titles and in some way abuse their power. I also find that same 90% lacking in personality and character, and I wouldn't want much to do with them, as I do now.

    That's better than the 98% of Pokecommunity's general population that are not only lacking in personality and character, but are also arrogant and think that they're better than everyone else, or just plain stupid.

    Um...I don't think I see myself dating a mod. I've been warn with mods whenever I bothered them with something though I didn't get an infraction yet. XD;

    Also, like Signomi said, if I want to be in a relationship, that person's personality and character is what seals the deal, not the rank. It's like dating one of the executives of a company. D: Okay, that's a bitttt much. ._.

    My sentiments exactly. I'd have to already love them for the person they are, not the rank they are. At the moment I'm quite happy with Kimi so, yeah, if she were a mod, I'd date her regardless of status on this forum. XD

    I've seen relationships of convenience among couples on various forums, for the sake of power, but even in those sorts of relationships, there is still a deep friendship bond there.

    I wouldn't judge anyone if they did date because of power, I know some people need more reasons than just their own feelings, and not always out of greed or ambition. I just don't see myself dating a person with that reason. XD

    Yes, I would date a mod. I am dating one. I don't see what makes them different from anyone else here, but yea.

    Seriously, the mods you're complaining about are probably some of the ones I call my closest friends. Do I call them close friends because of their status? Nah. Not at all. I can honestly say I don't look at people for the shiny names, I look at people and examine what they write simply so I can determine if they have more of a brain than a hamster and things along those lines. :> Sure, some of my closest friends here are staffies but not all of them.

    You wanna be snooty and say you're above mods, fine, but mods are people too and in the realm of MSN and outside chat programs, they're normal people just like you and me. The badge and the title leave at the door/database error/sign out page. :> And I just happen to like them outside that realm. It's coincidence and nothing more than that and if it 'makes me look bad' then I guess I really don't care. <3 I wouldn't trade my friends for anything and I'm not ashamed to be friends with them.

    Heck, I often wonder, in general, if I'm not good enough for my friends. XD; Not 'are they good enough for me' so maybe i'm just weird lol.

    My thoughts exactly. Mod or not I would prefer getting to know them before I made that type of decision.
     
    If Kimmy was a mod, I'd date her for sure. <3

    But with the current mods, Fiona, because she's friendly, smart, pretty, and around my age. :D
