Normal is boring. Normal means you're like everyone else, and you're just bland and generic.

Being at least a little bit weird is the optimal state of being, but if you're too crazy then it's just awkward.

Normal to me would be anything that is balanced. Not too much, not too less. For instance, someone who is kind, but not exceptionally kind - because if it is exceptional, it isn't normal anymore (or it wouldn't be exceptional. logic!!) So something like this is what imo comes closest to it. I hate it when people say "WELL WHATS NORMAL" and act like you can't identify it, because you can. 'Normal' is what is generally accepted by us as what they call 'the norm'. And I think everyone knows what that means.

Being normal to me is different from following the norm.

I think normal is like... uhh... going about the well-established route in whatever situation. Balanced, average, safe. Sort of like... what's generally thought of to bring about relatively good results.

As an example, I would say the norm is for students to just slide by on their school work and do the bare minimum, but it would be normal to take it more seriously. Or something.

I don't know, I'm tired now and lost my thought halfway through here.

'Normal' to me is something that's there without interference. It's kinda like saying 'natural' in certain places. For instance, a 'normal' person is someone who lived as regularly as he should have, and probably doesn't change his/her appearance much. Also means regularly at times.

I agree, has too many meanings, lol :p

Normal is just what is predictable within a certain context.

The sun rising is normal. If it didn't rise that would be abnormal. People, too, are mostly normal. This is not the same as common. There might not be a lot of a certain kind of person, but we likely still know they exist and so should know enough to expect there will be others like them. An abnormal person would be someone born with three arms or bonafide psychic powers. No one would honestly expect that.

Being normal is equal for being average. Ironically, from what I've noticed, those average people are the ones that usually say they're "unique". They're at best deviations from the standard, nothing more, which makes them normal and un-unique as it gets.

I myself am far from the world "normal".
