I'm not really loyal to any...

Though nowaday there are less and less traditional side-scrolling platformers, which is the reason I still enjoy the older generation of games a little more, because they were my favorite.

You cant even play side-scrollers on new home consoles anymore, unless you consider the Gameboy Player, and remakes and compilations like MMAC

It seems the last resort for these type of games is the GBA.

Newer games are great, but I will always love and never forget where it began... (err I mean after Pong Pac-Man and Galaga... heh...)

Ok let's see.. Have anyone else notice that graphics in games are improving, yet gameplay seems to lack in most games? This is why I still like playing my old-school games. They are truely great games indeed, and also some people who have grown up with certian game series, find it more appealing then anything newer, which is natural. The old games somehow were in a term ''perfect'' because it dident seem like the producers were trying to hard to make there games too good, and etc... usually games made like that turn into a disaster. Though I must admit that a few of the newer games are good too. I'm gonna stay neutral for now. ( once again I cant choose something..)

    ^ I'm with stupid.

Yeah, I agree Blade. I've BEEN noticing that though. I secretly protested the PS1 & later the N64 when they were released with the same concern you just pointed out.
