    How often do you say that blatantly overused phrase, "lol"?
    In the context of "laugh(ing) out loud" I mean.



    I don't say it to the point where it becomes annoying, only if it's something that I find laughable.
     
    As a joke, I'll use it (notably, in the context you used in for your title, but not as exaggerated. XD;). Otherwise, I'd just steer clear from it, since half the time I'll every say "lol," I'm never actually laughing out loud. :/
     
    I use it alot for some reason, only to my IRL friends over MSN.

    But with my friends online, I use XD.. o.O
     
    lol = ha
    lmao = that was funny/witty
    lmao! XD = I laughed
    ROFL = I'm still laughing

    I don't use lol that much I think... :P
     
    I used XD way more than lol.

    I once said lol out loud though - that was funny XD
     
    I say "lol" at least 27 times per day XD Yes I've counted.... XD
     
    XD > lol

    I use XD more often then lol. I only use lol when people start getting annoyed by me saying, "XD".
     
    I almost never use lol I prefer to use XD or :D or ^_^ to express happiness or laughter.
     
    I always use "xD" and ":3"

    I usually use ":3" when I think something is funny-cute
     
    I doubt whenever someone says lol, they're actually laughing out loud. And if someone really was rofl(ing?) I doubt they'd be able to type, seeing as how they are well, rolling. I use XD a lot more often, anyway.
     
    I am a loller. I use lol constantly, often when its not warranted. But the way I see it lol is classic. XD on the other hand I can't stand whatsoever. I remember when XD was first widely used back in 2000. I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. Its crap, but then many see lol as crap so well you just put up with it.

    I don't use anything like that, I used to use XD, but that took way too much willpower.
     
    Huh, I don't think I use it to the point that it gets annoying. But I do use it often, even when it's not that funny. =/
    Usually, when I think something's really funny, I just use Rotfl. Lol is just a silly phrase.. But most often it's just an "XD", or "xD".
