Palkia vs. Dialga

    Who would you think would win and why?

    I personally think Palkia Because he Can do a HADOUKEN! >:]
     
    This was a topic of much argument the last time it was posted.

    Dialga would win because its Dragon STAB scores a super-effective hit on Palkia, while Palkia needs a move outside its STAB to hit Dialga for super-effective damage.

    besides, what's Palkia gonna find that's better than a 140 STAB move off 150 base SpA lolz
    Palkia's a giant phallus anyway
    that being said, Palkia and Kyogre are the dream team of Ubers
    I like Palkia more anyway, Dialga's too fanboy-centric and I hate it when 12 year-old losers force their fandumb on this forum and kill any good topics with their stupidity. You use Charizard? Hahaha, I laugh at you.
     
    It is completely circumstantial.
    If you use their special moves alone, Palkia could score a critical hit with spacial rend, but if things like accuracy and extra effects weren't used, then Dialga would win.
    I prefer Palkia myself since I use it more and think of it as more useful since it only has one weakness :S
     
    oh sorry didnt know this argument was posted before (Kind of new here so yea)
     
    in battle Palkia would die against Dialga....
    But Pearl pretty corrupted my Image of Dialga so... Palkia !
     
    If we are thinking outside game mechanics then Dialga would win. He could just go back in time until he does it right :P
     
    If we think in terms of a real battle, then we have two possible circumstances:

    1, Dialga moves first. He freezes time and then pwns Palkia at his leisure. Dialga wins.

    2, Palkia moves first. He reshapes the matter that makes up Dialga, transforming him into a Magikarp. Palkia wins.


    The thing is, Palkia is faster than Dialga. Ergo, Palkia wins.
     
    there both equal in strength i pick dialga because he is stronger though.
     
    I think it would be Dialga as he could own Palkia with a STABbed super-effective Dragon Claw. But still I find Palkia better.
     
    In a battle:
    Dialga clearly wins. He has a Super-Effective STAB move to throw around.

    In awesomeness:
    Palkia clearly wins. He actually looks like a Dragon, while Dialga looks like a wolf...thing.
    Plus, Palkia has a cooler cry and a cooler signature attack. Roar of Time? Lame.
    Spacial Rend? Badass.
    I mean, rending the opponent's flesh with the matter around them (Or even the matter that makes them up) is just totally hardcore.
    Also, while controlling Time is cool and all, Space is EVERYTHING. Everything in existence has space in it, even down to the molecular level.
     
    Either can win if they are used properly. Palkia has better speed which can be used to its advantage while Dialga has an advantage over the fact that it has a STAB supereffective move to finish palkia off. So it totally depends on how the EVs are used on them.

    Either way, I'd go with Dialga coz I think that its cooler. :P

    I prefer Palkia because Dialga is a stupid time pokemon.
    If there was no time we wouldn't have to sleep.
     
    ... The reason you hate Dialga more is... Because of a reason that affects life, not a game?

    If we didn't have time, we wouldn't be able to move, if your logic works. We need to sleep for our body to rest, not because of time, but because of energy!

    I go for Palkia, as it has Spacial Rend, which can obliterate others quite well with a High Critical Hit Ratio move called Spacial Rend, and doesn't need to charge like Roar Of Time.
