You might have heard of the Panasonic Q and was only released in Japan, which is really a Gamecube that has the ability to play DVD's, CD-r's. The price is over $400 though, and until very recently, they stopped making it and the only way is to get it from a importor who might have some left.

Here is the link for further details:

What do you think of this newly designed Gamecube?

Yes it been out about as long as the GC.
Yea I wish it came out out side of Japan so I could get one and not get "well the Game Cube dont play DVDs but the X-Box and PS2 can" I hate then, when there is a Game Cube that can play DVDs. And Its also a CD player too. And it can play Japanese and US GameCube games and Japanese and US GameCube DVDs now the PS2 and the X-Box cant do that. I wish I had one. Its is the best Nintendo game system out there.

I know, and if it only game out in North America, I'm sure it would still be selling, but over $400 is kinda steep but if it can do so many thing like that, there are always people out there who are willing to purchase it.
