And I finally get to write this. Hope you enjoy.

A koopa had flown down to Mario and Luigi's mailbox and put a letter in.
"Mail Call!" it yelled to the two brothers. It then flew off as Luigi went and got the mail.
"Hey, Bro! Check it out! A letter from Princess Peach arrived for you!" he told Mario. Luigi walked over to were Mario was standing. "I'll just read it to you, how's that sound?" Without checking to see what Mario said, Luigi said, "Ahem! Now let's see here..." And he started to read it:

"Hello there, Mario! I am now on holiday, traveling in the Mushroom Kingdom. In my travels, I came into possession of a mystical map.. A treasure map, actually. It was inside a box I got from a merchant in a town called Rougeport. But since it would be too much trouble to try to go find treasure by myself... I though t you could help me hunt for it! You will, of course, won't you? I've included the map with this letter, so please bring it with you when you come. I'll meet you in Rougeport (That means you MUST come)
    Peach"
"What do you know? It's true!" Luigi told Mario. "There's a weathered old map in here with the letter. Check it out!"
    They both looked at it.
With that Mario went off onto his adventure.

    A Rouge's Welcome

    *****************************************************************
Since that trip was long and boring, it wasn't long before Mario fell asleep.
"Excuse me.......Sir? Please wake up, sir! The town you have been speaking of has has come into view. Look! That's Rougeport!"
"Oh!" Mario woke. It was true. That mess of a town Rougeport had come into view.
"You see?" The sailor said. "We'll arrive shortly. Please prepare to disembark."

After a brief period of time, the boat landed at Rouge port.
"I must apologize sir," The sailor told Mario. "Our arrival was delayed by a bit too rough weather.... Are you quite sure you want to disembark here? I...did tell you all the sordid tales about Rougeport on our way here, did I not? What's that? I'm sorry? You say there's a princess waiting here for you? Is that so? Er... of course, sir. Well if that's what you think, then I won't stop you. But, uh... You be careful sir. Don't say I didn't warn you!"

And with that, Mario was finally at Rougeport, starting to walk as the boat left. He had only walked a few yards when he heard a girl say, "Hey! What do you want?!? Get away from me, freak!!!"
He then saw a young Goomba girl was being harassed by a group of, what looked like, no goods that had giant "X's" on their uniforms. The biggest of the bunch said to the goomba,
"Oh come off it, you airhead! I know it's tough for you, but don't play dumb with me! I've seen you walking around town asking for information about the Crystal Star's. Well now I'm doing the asking, so be a good girl and tell us what you know! Right. NOW!"
    The girl replied,
"Never! I don't have to say anything to you creeps! Ewww!"
"I suppose," the leader told her, "that it wouldn't be right if a little sass like you met with an untimely demise.. Buh! Buh! Buh huh huh! Boys, were taking this firebrand to our fortress!"
"As you command Lord Crump! We're on it!" one of the lower ranking's in the group said. Lord Crump bumped into her and she said, "N-No! Stop right there you weirdoes! I'll scream! Really!"
Seeing this, Mario walked up to the scene. The girl noticed him and ran behind him. She then told the leader, "Like I'd go anywhere with smelly lunatics like you! Hmph! Not likely!"
"Whuh?" the Lord Crump asked. "What do you think YOU'RE doing chump? You think you can screw up my plans?!?"
Not knowing who the "chump" was, Mario went, "Oh!" and looked to see who he was talking about. Too bad Lord Crump was talking to him.
"Gah! It's always something... Looks like I'm going to have to give you a taste of the old CRUMP-A-BOMB!" Lord Crump said and quickly sprang into battle with Mario.
"Battle time, Mister Man!" the goomba said to him. "Just find a way to beat this freak out of the week, OK? Don't sweat the details. Just jump on him and hit him with your hammer!"
Mario nodded and decided to start his battle with his hammer. He walked straight up to Lord Crump and *WHAM* smacked his head with the hammer.
"Sweet!" the girl told Mario. "You KNOW that had to hurt! Wow. I gotta say, you're tougher then you look. Keep it up and you'll beat him in no time!"
Just then, Lord Crump came up to Mario and smashed down him using the Crump-A-Bomb. Knowing he was in no real danger of this creep, Mario decided to jump on him this time. He once again walked up and jumped on his head twice, causing extra damage.
"You've got him on the ropes! C'mon! Keep wailing on him!"
Lord Crump used another Crump-A-Bomb, barely causing any damage to Mario. Now is the time to finish this, Mario thought. He went up to Lord Crump, raised him hammer high, and smashed down hard. It was a done deal. Lord Crump was defeated for the first of many times.
"You did it! You did it! YESSS!" the goomba beside him cheered.

"Buh! Buh! Buh huh huh!" Lord Crump said after battle. "OK, you got a couple of decent shots in. I'll give you that. But...unfoutantely for you that means...
    IT'S GO TIME!"

Just then thousands of the little creatures swarmed around Mario and the goomba.
    "PUNISH HIM!" Lord Crump commanded.

All of the things started to jump into the circle, trying to attack Mario. Except...
"Quick! This Way!" the goombella, who had gotten out of that mess, told Mario. Mario got out too. "Phew!" the girl said. "What a bunch of loons! Let's just sneak out of here, what do you say?"
Mario nodded, and they went up the stairs into the plaza.
Lord Crump, who was in that circle the followers were attacking, realized that Mario wasn't in the circle anymore. "Buh-HUUUUUUHHHH?!? STOPPP!" he ordered. They stopped attacking. "Where'd they go?!? Huh? You, Johnson! Did you see them? Did anyone see them?"
    No one had or did.
    "Uh...Crud! They bolted!"

"Wow Mister! You..... Totally saved me! Thanks!" The goomba told him. "I have just GOT to give you a little award!"
She walked to him and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
"I'm Goombella. I'm a student of the University of Goom. Nice to meet ya! So uh...Who are you?"
    Mario told her
"..Mario? You mean like that famous guy? Wow! I can't believe I met you here! Cool...Anyway, no offense, but you looked like you just rolled into town yourself. Right?"
    Mario nodded.
"Me. I already HATE it here! There are freaks and weirdoes EVERYWHERE! It's nasty! I mean, I know it's called Rougeport, so I should have expected it, but sheesh! I'd never come to a place like these unless I knew there weren't legendary treasure here."
    "Oh!"
"What? You're looking for the legendary treasure too? Seriously?'
    Mario nodded.
"Whoa whoa WHOA, bucko! Whatcha got there?"
Mario pulled out the weathered map so that Goombella could see it.
"Ohmigosh!" She exclaimed. "Is..Isn't that a treasure map?! You HAVE to tell me where you got it!"
    Mario told her.
    "...Princess Peach? What?"
"Great hoogly boogly!" a voice yelled from behind Goombella. She turned to look. "If it isn't Master Mario!"
    It was Toadsworth.
"Bit of a coincidence, bumping into each other at this sort of place, hm? Ho ho! So, tell me Master Mario, what brings you to this wretched little burg?"
    Mario also told Toadsworth.
"...Hmm? Ah! Indeed?!? Princess Peach sent you a letter and a treasure map? And she told you she'd meet you here in Rougeport?!? Intriguing."
Mario nodded, then asked where Peach was
"You're asking whe Princess peach is? Erm... I was about to ask you that. We stopped in this town to acquire a bit of fuel for our boat, don't you know... I only took my eye off her for a moment, but as soon as I did, she vanished..
    "Oh!"
"You know how headstrong she is, Mario... I just assumed she'd be back momentarily... But at this point. I fear we must embrace the possibility that she may never return. I've been at a loss as to what to do. I've been fraught with worry, I tell you! But I'm feeling better with you here, Master Mario! Surely we'll find her! Surely! But I know my place, Master Mario... And this is not it. I leave this task with you. I believe I'll recline at that inn over there and enjoy a spot of tea, perhaps."
    With that, he left.
Goombella faced Mario. "Um.. Princess Peach? Did he, like, mean Peach, the Mushroom Kingdom's princess?!? The princess who always gets nabbed by The Koopa King, Bowser? The one you rescue? Wait a sec! This is crazy! Princess...PEACH sent you the treasure map? Whoa. This is intense. Well, where could she have gone, do you think? You think she got sick of waiting and decided to find the treasure on her own? Ohhhh! Ohhhh! I know Mario! Come with me! One of my professors is here researching the treasure. We'll show him your map! If we start looking for the treasure, then maybe we'll catch up with Princess Peach! Great! Let's go Mario!"

Aw, crap I don't know! Which means it would be delayed for maybe a few days so... anyway, I fixed all grammar and spelling mistakes(not that you pointed them out) since I couldn't use spell check since I had to get off the computer. Which means I shall finish the introduction and Chapter One shall be completed as well.
