Welcome to my poetry project thread. This is where I'll be posting all my poetry projects so that way I can keep all my work organized in one thread as opposed to cluttering the fan-fiction section with my works.

Dance in the Rain
What starts with hello, will end with goodbye
And what follows thus, is a belly deep sigh
We once were so high, we soared past the moon
And glided through the stars, our trip ended too soon
You said the spark wasn't there, which I saw all around
But now all I see is pitch black darkness, no sound
It's silent in this hell, and the pain doesn't quell
And my heart too big swells, too far I have fell
If I am to see light, I'll have to make it on my own
But I've always had a way of doing things all alone
I'm used to the feeling, that I have no one there
So when someone exits my life, why should I at all care?
So I'll still live my life, with no help and no chains
Why hide in the shadows when you can dance in the rain?

Sharing Is Caring
We once were so careless, so wild, so free
Our young imaginations as vast, as the wide open sea
But as time grew the currents, raged all in their path
With waves crashing and smashing, in their contorting wrath
When we rose to the surface, with inevitable fate
What we found waiting for us, was hells open gate
Here we're given some choice, we can give up, or run
But if we fall into the darkness, we can't soar with the sun
So to stand strong at storms front, blood-sweat and tears in our eyes
We must endure with our lives a fight to day-breaks sunrise
No matter what the outcome, win or lose, we all learn
That if we ignite our wills, a fiery passion will burn-
Light into the dark nights, where there's a will, there's a way
To find our life's correct path, even if we're far astray
So fear not my friend, storm winds give way to still air
Now inhale life's love, and don't forget to share
