Pengin-chan's Sprites

[Pengin-chan]

I do very, VERY basic sprites. I can reallu only do recolors. Yup, that means no fusions, no scratches, no nothing! I prepared for the worst of critism (SP?), since they're quite bad. But it will help me do better.
IF I get a couple good comments, though... I might do requests. If not, I'll start over again. You'll know when I'll be doing requests when I edit this post.
Anyway, I'll stop yammering and show you my sprites:

This one is probably the best one I've done.

This is a Halloween Blissey.

This is a Valentines day Absol.

This is an Easter Umbreon... I really screwed up O_O;.

It's supposed to be a Christams Wailord, but it looks like a strawberry -_-.

Just a simple recolor.

Another simple recolor.

Some Pidgeot with an aura around it.

the halloween blissey and valentines absol=teh smex! althoug youd expectit to be the other way around, but thats why i like it, its not CLICHE!

eep, one thing on the wobuffet: there are a few blue lines, maybe change hem to dark purple to go with the rest? O_o

Oh wow O.O. Thank you ^^! EEK! I didn't see dem blue lines. *Chucks a brick at the blue lines* Okay, they didn't disappear O_O;.

i like the camerupt, it looks almost albino, albinos are very cute!
is it meant to be albino?

Oro-nee-chan! <3 Alright, just taking quick glances on each of your sprites, they look pretty good! But that's only taking a glance, I shall go on to criticizing them now! O: *doom music* But before that, I'd like to say that the Easter Umbreon, the Halloween Blissey and the Valentine's Absol are my favorite <3

You did good on the Igglybuff. I like the color you chose for recoloring. It's not those cliché colors everyone uses. It makes Igglybuff look evil! O: and you know me, I love teh evilness ;3 The red eyes give it a nice touch as well *loves red*

The Halloween Blissey, again, nice choice of non-cliché colors! :3 However, if it is a Halloween Blissey, you should have used orange somewhere since I believe orange is a Halloween color *nod nod* Anyway, nice recoloring, nice shading, good job!

I love the heart on Absol's umm...behind! XD; It looks like a tattoo and it's cool O: The colors are nice too, that's why I favor it ;D but you should use red *cough cough* *hint hint* *nudge nudge* *wink wink* Ahem...you get it ^^;

The Easter Umbreon looks highly glompable <3 Well, a few things to say...the colors...not all that eastery, but they are alright ^_^; I am actually not sure what colors you should use though...so...just ignore my last comment ^^;;; I can see an extra set of black lines towards the left of Umbreon, you should recolor those as well. Great job though!

The Wailord makes me giggle X3; but I like the colors you used. It may look like a strawberry, but it's unique like that XD;; I can't really say much about it except that there's a lot of dark green on the bottom right hand side. Maybe it's supposed to be like that? o.o;

Wobuffet looks okay...but I see quite a few blue lines ;xx That's all there really is on that one, but somehow, the shading isn't as good as all the others e___e;;

The green flame is rather cool. It's different too, I'd usually see blue, but this is green O: Anyway, nice recolor and the shading is just perfect. Great job!

Pidgeot is kinda too simple for me ;x maybe it'd be cooler if the aura was a little like the shape of a flame or something? I dunno...just my opinion XP;

Camerupt is pretty good. Good shading, a little too much gray in the center, you need to alternate to a lighter gray. Not too much though, just enough to make the darker gray non-dominant XP; The black circles seem to stand out a bit too much. Maybe use a darker gray instead of black?

Overall, great job. Shading is pretty good, the recoloring is pretty unique even though it's simple. Keep up the great work ^____^

Wooh yeah o____o. I guess the orange wasn't dark enough ^^! It's kind of like a yellow-ish orange O_o. Sankyuu anyway ^^! I'm just trying to find out how to get a transparent background >.<!

Interesting, the whale one looks like an airship. lol. Good job though, I like the sprites.

 

[Persona]

Recoloring? Hm, not bad. The only one I would say is the best from them all, is your Absol. The reason is that you have a heart put on it, so it doesn't just look like a simple recolor. Keep up the good work. *winks*

I just finished posting in your welcome thread. Haha, so you're a spriter too, I see. This is good stuff. I'd have to agree with Roy that your Absol is the best, but I like the Camerupt a lot too. XD Keep up the great work!!
