My question to you all is which of the conditions do you find the most annoying when you are inflicted with them by the opponent? Which of the conditions do you find yourself inflicting on the opponent the most?
How could I forget my sheer hatred of infatuation. Between that and confusion, I have gotten so angry at the games. Battles take forever to get through when a Pokemon is confused, infatuated, or both.I can't even begin to explain how much I hate infatuation. 50% chance of not doing anything!? That's so ridiculous! And burn? I didn't even know that it cut attack power. Let me tell you, I learned that the hard way.

The other ones I can handle, but those two are just so annoying.

In Pokemon, it's the random criticals that I hate, but they nerfed those in gen 6, so I'm happy. I don't feel status is worthwhile most of the time (particularly in the AI's hands) as it tends to do nothing more than delay fights unless a particular strategy is developed around it (ex. Breloom Spore into Focus Punch). Given the unreliabiity of the moves (many are inaccurate) or the status itself (confusion; flinch), or the situationality of the effects (heal block; taunt, et al.) making them unworthy of one of four move slots, I do feel that many effects are a bit stupid and don't really work in a turn-based game where combatants can very easily be taken out in only one turn.
