How do php.id?'s work? Can anyone tell me how, or point me to a place that explains this...?

I'm working on my cousin's site and I would like to have this be the way it runs, and I may switch PJN over too.

I just don't see a point in me staying at a place where most of the (higher) staff despise me and I'm literally unable to help people as I used to~ I feel like I'd be leaving webmasters hanging if I left, and if it ever came to a point where it turned out you don't need me at all I'd be out of here.
