Pikachu vs. Meowth

The battle of the century!

Pikachu and Meowth have always had somewhat of a rivalry in the anime and some of the manga, and were designed based on a cat and mouse to further represent that. Pikachu is obviously the main series mascot, but Meowth has been a prominent face of the series since the beginning as well, so a lot of people may recognize it.

So let's discuss these two from a general series standpoint and make our decision. Who is your favorite - Pikachu or Meowth?

I have the opposite opinion, I prefer Meowth in the anime but like Pikachu more outside of it.

It's not even a contest for me. I'm wholly indifferent on Pikachu.

Pikachu overall, due to design. Does not look like a standard mouse. Dings Meowth for being, largely, just a normal cat. Prefers Meowth in the anime for having decent lines here and there.

i really like both in few anime episodes i watched gonna had to side with Pikachu 'cause i like Pikachu in the games too.

I'm neutral to Mewoth and its evolution.

I agree with others that Mewoth is more entertaining in the anime though

Meowth just because of how many times he made me laugh in the anime lol

I didn't watch the anime, so my experience is only with the game versions. Pikachu easily. Meowth is fine I suppose, but I prefer Persian.
