Pixel Art Suggestion

In my experience, there has been a lot of conflict in the area of the Art Gallery vs Home of the Sprites. So, I have a suggestion.

Move Home of the Sprites out of Art Gallery and put it up at a top-level forum, with a new name - "Pixel Art"

Do this forum like Webmaster's and ROM Hacking, by having the top level non-postable, with it all done in subforums.

Pixel Art
- Trainer Cards
- Sprite Comics
- Other Pixel Art Showcase

They would work similar to the already working forums, the "Other Pixel Art Showcase" would be basically the main forum as it is.

A couple of the current stickies could be kept in the main area, and the others moved to the Showcase.

I believe this would encourage organization in the area which gets quite a bit of attention, and also give it more recogonition than it currently recieves, being subforums inside of subforums.


Thoughts and suggestions on the proposition?

Spriting is a form of pixel art so to have an accurate forum it would be Home Of The Pixel Art.

Spriting is just a smaller version of pixel art.

Perhaps changing the name of the Sprite forum to 'Pixel Art' would be a good idea as Espio advised. But there is no need to move the Sprite forum from the Art Gallery because it is a form of art. If you move it to be it's own forum, then people will perhaps get confused and start to post their sprites/ pixel art in the main art forum...and we don't want that now do we?

They have their own sub forum in the art gallery Oo;; So they are aloud there...
